Eugene J. Prajzner, of Warminster, PA, beloved husband, father, and grandfather passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by family on October 4, 2023. He was 84 years old. A simple man with simple tastes, "Gene", known by his relatives and friends, or "Dad" by his children, or "Pop" by his grandson, was always significantly available and enthusiastically willing, to join in, help out and spend time together. Gene learned at an early age as the third of four children of Casimir and Mary Prajzner, in the Bridesburg Section of Philadelphia, the importance of family ties and hard work. He learned to value his Polish heritage, highlighted by the principle of fairness toward those he came into contact with. To say that Gene, growing up in a working class environment with what might be described as having limited career opportunities, would surely be an under estimation of who he was. Finishing high school at North Catholic, he sought opportunities for higher education. With his desire to become an engineer, he graduated from Drexel University attending part-time while working full-time, all the while providing for his wife and raising two children. He succeeded and helped his family to have a life that mirrored his values. Gene was the type of husband and father who enjoyed providing not only the material things to his family but did all he could to provide happy moments filled with enjoyment and built good memories for his loved ones. In many respects he learned this from his parents and siblings but also appreciated the differences in personality of his wife, children and grandson and always tried to accommodate their interests with his. With his sense of humor and guiding hand he built his legacy on love, inquisitiveness, perseverance and fair play. Eugene Prajzner lived a full life and for those of us who knew him well we will always be eternally grateful. Eugene is preceded in death by his beloved wife Anna "Lola" (nee Cannon) Prajzner. Eugene is survived by his children Ted (Kathy) and Mary Beth; his grandchild Christian; and his siblings Stan, Helen, and Casey. Relatives and friends are invited to Eugene's viewing on October 11 th , 2023 from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM at The Decker Funeral Home 216 York Road, Warminster PA 18974, followed by a Funeral Mass at 12:30 PM at Nativity of Our Lord Church 605 West Street Road, Warminster PA 18974.
