Estrella Faye Babin, 93, of Lumberton, died Tuesday, June 21, 2022. She was born on April 3, 1929, in Fred, to Gertrude Yawn Moore and Henry Allen Moore. Survivors include her husband, Kenneth John Babin, Sr. ; children, Sheila Parchman of Lumberton; Kenneth Babin, Jr. , and his wife, Beverly, of Beaumont; Tanya Steward of Lumberton; and Jeffrey Babin and his wife, Karen, of Elgin; adopted daughter, Sharon Kesser and her husband, Gary, of Canton, Georgia; grandchildren, Shawn Harding, Sarah Coo, Duston Babin, Diana Babin, Jessica Otte, Jarrod Rozean, Jalee Dudley, Kevin Kessler, and Kimberly Lesley; nineteen great-grandchildren; and siblings, Lester Moore and his wife, Elaine; Douglas Moore and his wife, Caroline; and Darrell Moore and his wife, Joyce, all of Fred. She is preceded in death by her parents; two sisters; and three brothers. A gathering of Mrs. Babin's family and friends will be 5:00 p. m. until 8:00 p. m. , Thursday, June 23, 2022, at Broussard's, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee.
