Tracey Stewart left this world to be with the Lord in heaven on Dec 7th surrounded by her family after a 2-year battle with cancer. Tracy was born on October 12th, 1968, in Goldsboro NC. She grew up on Tybee Island. She graduated high school from Sol C. Johnson High in 1987. She was the middle child of a family of five children in the Gray household. She met the love of her life in 8th grade. Stephen and Tracey were always as one. As much as she loved Stephen, he knew he had to share that love with her papa, mama, her 3 sisters and her brother. All her phone conversations with her parents would always be "Hey mama, I love you Papa, I love you more. " Although Tracey and Stephen were not blessed with children, she was blessed with 6 nephews, 4 nieces, 2 great nephews and 1 great niece. This was her true love. She was not just an aunt to each of them she was an extension of having an additional mother. She knew what to say and when to say it to help all of them through any struggles they were going through. She would never let them know the struggles she was having with her cancer. According to her chemo, radiation nurse and doctors they said, "I wish all my patients were as strong as you and had your positive attitude. " Tracey's nieces and nephews each have a special place in her heart. The love she shared with each of them always, and I mean always put a smile on their faces and hers. She would drop anything and be there for anyone in her family. Tracey always had a smile on her face and was a positive light to all that met her. Tracey's other love was her four-legged children. She treats her doggies and kitties as if they were human because to her these were and will always be her children. Her house, her cars, her boat, and her yard were always set up to accommodate her four-legged children. If you do not want fur or a doggie on you then you better not stop by the house. Tracey loved traveling with her Stephen. She would let him plan it all and she would navigate them through some of the best places in the United States. She got her love for travel from her parents. She always wanted to go someplace new, and Stephen made sure she always got what she wanted. Tracey's other love was just to stay home and listen to music. Stephen would bring home new LP's and they would sit there with their beverage of choice and discuss their next trip. Tracey just loved being with her Stephen and sometimes neither one of them wanted to share the other with anyone else. Stephen and Tracey would like to thank Hospice of Savannah, Dr. Yannucci, Dr. Hassell and Dr. Starr for all their support and guidance. Also, Reverend Brooks Cail of his service and time. Precede in death her father-in-law, fraternal grandparents and maternal grandparents, and her four-legged children Brandy, Buck, Sammy, Buddy, and Baliey. Tracey is survived by her loving husband Stephen of 31 years. Stephen was first her friend, husband, and caregiver until the end. Tracey's parents Gary and Carol Gray, her mother and law Linda Stewart her sisters Debbie Coleman (Mike), Gail Prescott (Walker), Josette Gregory (Jason), and her brother Gary Gray. Her brother-in-law Lance Stewart (Heather).
