Ernest J. Bucci, 89, of Chestnut Street, passed away peacefully at home on June 15, 2022. He was the husband of Emily (Stanzione) Bucci, his wife of 45 years. Born in Berkeley, RI, he was the son of the late Vincenzo and Filomena (Jannarelli) Bucci. Ernest is survived by his children: Ernest (Donna) Bucci of Jacksonville, FL; Vincent Bucci of Jacksonville, FL; Barbara (Michael) Parent of Bellingham, MA; Marguerite (Michael) Januario of Bristol; Caroline Mancieri of East Providence; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Jennie Russo and Mary Vani. Mr. Bucci was a graduate of Cumberland High School and served in the US Army from 1953 to 1955. He then went on to receive an Associate's Degree from Rhode Island School of Design. He was the owner and operator of Bucci's Auto Body & Sales for over forty years before retiring.
