Patricia "Pat" Thomas Davis, 80, of Liberty, Texas, passed away on Thursday, November 23, 2023, at her residence, with her loving family by her side. She was born on January 6, 1943, in Houston, to the late James and Helen Vail Thomas. She graduated from East Jefferson High School, in New Orleans, Louisiana, the class of 1961. She went on to business school where she gained a certification in business. Pat pursued many interests, some of which were sewing, working in the garden and tending to her plants. She had a true servant's heart. Pat went out of her way to make sure others had what they needed before her own needs were met. She was very compassionate and selfless. Pat found that her greatest joy came from spending time with her precious family, and she was so proud of each and every one of them. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by those who knew and loved her. Pat was preceded in death by her parents; and her beloved husband Frank Davis of fifty-eight years. She leaves behind to cherish her loving memory her son Nathan Davis and wife Mendy of Liberty; her daughter Michelle Bingaman and husband Jim of Liberty; her grandchildren Brooklyn Bingaman of liberty, Brendan Bingaman of Liberty, Easton Parker and wife Angel of Crosby, Chris Davis of Houston, Caleb Parker of San Marcus; her great-grandson Wesley Parker of Crosby; her brother James Thomas and wife Susan of New Orleans; her sister Carolyn Moore and husband Billy of Chatham, Louisiana; along with a host of other loving relatives and friends. Honoring the family by serving as pallbearers will be Brendan Bingaman, Chris Davis, Caleb Parker, Easton Parker, Trent Moore, and James Franklin. Dorothy Jean Fregia, age 84, passed away on November 25, 2023, in Liberty, Texas, surrounded by the love of her family. She was born on February 22, 1939, in Liberty, Texas, to her parents, Tom Fontenot and Zelma Nugent Fontenot. Dorothy, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, was a lifelong resident of the Liberty area. Dorothy embraced the role of homemaker with unwavering dedication, finding joy in the simple pleasures of life. Her days were often filled with the warmth of family gatherings and the comfort of her favorite television shows, "The Young and the Restless" and "The Price is Right. " Beyond her homemaking duties, Dorothy found solace and creativity in quilting, a craft that allowed her to weave love and warmth into every stitch. Additionally, she enjoyed the excitement of playing bingo, adding an element of fun to her leisure time. Dorothy's life was not without its share of challenges, having faced the loss of loved ones, including her husband Kenneth Fregia, her daughter JoAnn McCraw, and her grandson Thelbert Ray Hilton. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Tom and Zelma Fontenot, her mother-in-law, Bertha Fregia, her brother Elder Fontenot, her sister Louise Nugent, and her nephew Larry Fontenot. Left to cherish her memory are her son Daniel Norris, daughters Carolyn Hilton and husband Clarance, Brenda Carr and husband Lance, and a host of grandchildren, Clarance Hilton, Jr and wife Toni, Matt Hilton and wife Angie, Chris Hilton and wife Ashley, Chelsey Copeland and husband Tyler, Bailie Leon and husband Doug, Jacob Carr, and wife Erica, Steven Olson, Donna Zicafoose and husband Tim, Rebecca Lee and great-grandchildren who brought immense joy to her life. Dorothy's dear friend Juanita remained a constant source of companionship and support. Pallbearers for Dorothy's final journey include Clarance Hilton, Jr. , Bryce Hilton, Matt Hilton, Chris Hilton, Jacob Carr, Tim Zicafoose, and Aaron Lee. "Richard "R. W. " Watt Fregia, 80, of Liberty, Texas went to be with his Heavenly Father on Sunday, October 29, 2023, at Kingwood Hospital. R. W. was born on October 31, 1942, in Liberty, Texas to the late Clint Fregia and Bernice Junkins Fregia. Richard "R. W. " Watt Fregia was a long-time resident of Liberty County. Born and raised in the Fregia Settlement. His pride and joy were his grandkids and he loved being a social butterfly. R. W. was a welder for the beginning of his career and then became a heavy equipment crane operator until he retired in his 70's. He helped with numerous benefits where he fried a lot of fish and bought a lot of pineapple upside down cakes. R. W. loved his cows and bailing hay with one of his closest friends, Jimmy VanDorn. He was a critique of food as if he were a classically trained chef. If he called, you a name other than your given name. . . you were one of his favorites. In his younger years he was rough around the edges but made up for it in his older age. You never left his presence without a kiss and an "I love you. " R. W. is preceded in death by his parents, Clint and Bernice Fregia; daughter, Annette Fregia; brothers, Maurice Fregia, Ealson Fregia, Vernon Fregia, and Clifton Fregia; sisters, Alma Vogel and Mary Fregia. He is survived by his daughters Marvie Curry and husband Phillip of Liberty, Texas, and Cori Patino and husband Jason of Rosharon, Texas; son, James Fregia and wife Melissa of Liberty, Texas; brothers, Franklin Fregia and wife Elaine of Danberry, Texas; sisters, Norma Fregia of Liberty, Texas; grandchildren, Kyle Cunningham, Brayden Patino, Reagan Patino, Jimmie Curry, James Michael Fregia and Krystal Mobley; great-grandchildren, Brayden Ross, Bryland Ross, Tylor Ross, Carol Joe Roberts, Karlie Ross and Khrislyn Mobley and numerous nieces, nephews and host of family and friends. Juneid Newton Majors, 87, of Liberty, Texas, passed away on Friday, November 17, 2023, in Liberty. She was born on November 28, 1935, in Woodville, Texas, to the late Opal & Mack E. Newton. Juneid was a longtime resident of Liberty. Juneid graduated in 1953 from Liberty High School. She has been a member of First Baptist Church in Liberty for over 70 years. Juneid met her beloved husband, Lewie Travis Majors in September 1953, and married him on September 5, 1954. Lewie was the former Mayor of Liberty, Tx. (1968-1974). She and her husband owned and operated "Lewie's" for 50 years. Their store was featured on "The Eyes of Texas. " Juneid was known for her award-winning Pecan Pies she sold at Lewie's. She was also an avid reader and belonged to a book club. Juneid loved to play bridge with her friends, and she belonged to two bridge clubs. She also liked to do volunteer work. Juneid loved to travel with her husband and was always planning her next trip. Later, she traveled with her daughter. Juneid loved her family and enjoyed cooking for them. Friday night suppers were a family tradition for years. Juneid, "Nina," will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Juneid was preceded in death by her parents Opal & Mack E. Newton; her husband Lewie Travis; and her son Terry Travis Majors. She leaves behind to cherish her loving memory are her daughters Sherri Birdwell and husband John of Liberty, and Joanna Hacker & husband Chris, of Hideaway; her brother Paul E. Newton and wife Celeste of Liberty; her grandchildren whom she loved very much Jeanne Marie Ewing, Lew Birdwell, Julie Potetz, Jill Birdwell, Scott Birdwell, Corey Arceneaux, Sydney Hacker, and Summer Middleton; her seven great-grandchildren Caleb Ewing, Lucy Anne Potetz, John Mack Potetz, Emma Jane Middleton, Cameron Jones, Alexis Birdwell, and Olive Middleton. Grady Elliott Cade, Jr. , 71, passed away in Liberty, Texas on November 7, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on December 24, 1951, in Tomball, Texas, to the proud parents Grady E. Cade, Sr. , and Ani Lourie Hildebrand. Grady lived a life rich in love, laughter, and cherished moments. For the past 45 years, he made his home in the Moss Hill area, where he created countless memories with his family and friends. Prior to that, he resided in the Spring/Tomball area, where his journey of life began. A member of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Cleveland, Grady's faith was a guiding light in his life. He had a passion for nature and spent countless hours fishing and hunting, his favorite prey being rabbits. The Trinity River held a special place in his heart, where he enjoyed fishing, camping, and swimming with his beloved family. In his younger years, Grady was a gifted artist, delighting his friends and family with his creative talents. His love for animals knew no bounds, as he cared for any creature that found its way to his doorstep or was lost and in need. Grady was a jovial soul, always ready with a good joke to bring smiles to the faces of those around him. Wrestling captured his imagination, making it his favorite television show, but his true joy came from the thrill of riding motorcycles. He found immense pleasure in cruising on his many motorcycles. Grady had a deep appreciation for eagles and his home state of Texas, a love he proudly displayed. However, his greatest joy in life was his family, especially his grandchildren. They were his precious gifts, and he loved them with all his heart. Grady is preceded in death by his parents and grandparents, who surely welcomed him with open arms into the eternal embrace. He is survived by his devoted wife of 43 years, Mary Cade, his son Grady Cade III and wife Danielle, daughter Kimberly Cade, brothers Carl Cade and wife Maureen, Alfred Cade and wife Kim, David Cade and wife Kim; sister Cindy Tinkle and husband John, and his adored grandchildren Landon, Ryan, Anistyn, and Adrian. He also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of other family members and friends, all of whom will carry his memory in their hearts.
