Family was always a priority for Alice as she attended all the sporting events, orchestra concerts, and other events that her children were involved in. Alice lived within the Brooklyn Park community until she passed away. Alice enjoyed life and was proud of her kids and grandkids. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Alice had a sense of adventure and liked to travel. One of her favorite trips was a family vacation to Alaska where she stood on the Mendenhall Glacier and went to Denali National Park. With her willingness to try new things at least once, Alice took a hot air balloon ride at age 78 and took a helicopter ride over the Grand Canyon while she was in her 70s. Alice also enjoyed games with her friends where they would play dominoes, carbals, or card games. Alice became involved with the Brooklyn Park Senior Center after she retired as an Administrative Assistant from Accenture in 2002. In 2009, Alice was selected to be a Senior Royal Member of the Brooklyn Park Ambassador Program. As the Senior Ambassador she rode on a potato float in over 100 community parades across Minnesota. She also volunteered at Eidem Historical Farm and called BINGO for the Brooklyn Park Senior Center. She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas. Alice is survived by her son Christopher and wife Joan, granddaughters, Megan, Erin, and Ruby; and her daughter Margaret and husband Bruce Rabago.
