Funeral services for Mrs. Inita Lively, of Vidalia, formerly of Crowville, will be 2:00PM Friday, December 1, 2023 in the chapel of Young's Community Memorial Winnsboro with Pastor Larry Wagoner officiating. Interment will follow at Harris Cemetery in Swampers under the direction of Young's Community Memorial. Visitation will be from 5:00PM until 8:00PM Thursday, November 30, 2023 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Lively was born July 5, 1933 in Baskin, LA and passed from this life on November 28, 2023 in New Orleans, LA at the age of 90. She married her husband, Robert Lively on October 23, 1952 in Rayville, and they resided together near Crowville where they were longtime members of Lone Pine Baptist Church. She was a supervisor for the garment factory in Winnsboro for 25 years where she retired, and then worked as a cafeteria server for the Franklin Parish School System for over 7 years. She later moved to Vidalia, LA and has been a member of Westside Baptist Church in Ferriday for over 20 years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Lively; her parents, Willie L. Loyed and Nellie Jordan Loyed; three brothers, Tommy Lee Loyed, James A. Loyed and Willie L. Loyed; and two sisters, Vera Dee Bartlett and Rosetta Coston.
Survivors include one son, Robert Loyed and wife, Kristin of Vidalia; one daughter, Brenda Lively Cockerham and husband, Courtney of Vidalia; eleven grandchildren, Derrick Olivo and wife, Elizabeth of Baskin, Matthew Long, Jr. and Mason Long of Vidalia, Holley Cockerham of Laurel, MS, Heidi Cockerham of Vidalia, Sarah Lively and Chloe Lively of Phenix City, AL, Haylee Thornton, Curt Thornton, Blake Loyed and Tyler Loyed, all of Vidalia; sister-in-law, Edna Loyed of Haughton; also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Tommy Loyed, Eddie Loyed, David Loyed, Charles "Chuck" Loyed, Bill Stahlman and Danny Vail. Honorary pallbearers will be her beloved grandsons.Show more
