Emery Roy Collins, age 54 of Deweyville, Texas, passed away on Sunday, April 21, 2019 in Newton County. Services to honor Roy's life will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at First Baptist Church of Deweyville with Brother Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Deweyville Cemetery. Family and friends will gather for a visitation on Friday, April 26, 2019 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at First Baptist Church of Deweyville. Roy was born in Orange, Texas on March 3, 1965 to Betty Folks Collins and Henry Collins. He was married to his best friend, Sheila for 35 years. He was always willing to help others in need. Roy was a very talented mechanic and could just about do anything. He enjoyed riding motorcycles with family and friends. His children and grandchildren meant the world to him. He was preceded in death by his father, Henry Collins and his son Darrin Jenkins. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Sheila Collins of Deweyville, TX, mother Betty Stoy and her husband Phil of Deweyville, TX, sons; Roy Boy Collins, Jr. and his wife Nicki of Deweyville, TX, Robby Collins and his wife Dannielle of Deweyville, TX and Kyle Holden of Deweyville, TX, brother Robert Collins of Deweyville, TX, sister Brenda Lyons and her husband John of Orangefield, TX and seven grandchildren; Kaylee Jenkins, Alyssa Collins, Hayden Collins, Kamen Collins, Emery Collins, HarLeigh Jenkins and Kolby Collins. Pallbearers will be Mark McLain, Bill Lummus, Tim Martin, Paul Elliott, William "Chief" Sepulvado, Craig Acosta and James Naegele. Honorary pallbearers will be Robby Collins, Roy Boy Collins, Jr., Kyle Holden, Hayden Collins, Kamen Collins and Kolby Collins.
