Born September 17, 1969 at Morristown Hamblen Hospital, she attended West Elementary, Meadowview and was a 1987 graduate of Morristown Hamblen High School East. Whitney was an undisputed sweetheart, a beloved friend to many, and always there when needed. Her strength was her spirited soul, she always approached life with steadfast loyalty, leaving a deep impact on many, while creating unbreakable bonds with those she held dear. Whitney's dependable nature made her an anchor in our lives and a constant source of support that we could always count on. To her close friends and family, truth was Whitney's ally; you could always rely on her quick wit to add flair to any conversation and you never had to wonder what she was thinking. Whitney's heart was truly good and her impact on others was profound. She was an animal advocate, a daughter, a sister, a partner and best friend; crossing the metaphorical rainbow bridge, her kind heart and gentle spirit will be deeply missed. She also was the proud Mama to 9 felines, all she considered children. Whitney's love and care for animals was obvious to all, always on a quest to find homes for the homeless furry companions. Her love and compassion extended beyond words, as she actively worked to make the world a better place for them.
