Obituary of Ellen Willey Ellen Darlene Willey, 74, of Delmar, died on Monday, February 11, 2019, peacefully at Anchorage Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. Born on July 15, 1944 in Salisbury, MD, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Ethel Huntington Smith. Darlene and her husband Wallace owned and operated Willey's Day Care over 40 years, until their retirement in 2006. She enjoyed going out to eat, getting her hair and nails done as well as going to church and listening to gospel music. She was a devoted member of Faith Baptist Church in Salisbury. Darlene is survived by her husband of 57 years Wallace Willey, two sons, Mark Willey and his wife Ginny and Dwayne Willey and his wife Donna; a grandson, Devin Willey; three granddaughters, Mykayla Willey, Jessica Willey, and Paige Hudson and her husband Brandon, and a great-granddaughter, Casi Nichols. In addition to her parents, Darlene is preceded in death by three brothers, Walter Smith, Carlton Smith, and Ronnie Smith. A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 18, 2019 at 1:00 pm at Faith Baptist Church Salisbury, Salisbury. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
