Ellen Gould Obituary

Ellen J. Gould (Verrier), 74, of Danielson Pike, North Scituate, passed away August 20, 2023. She was the wife of the late Robert Gould. They had been married for 30 years. Born in West Warwick, she was the daughter of the late Roland J. and Waneta M. (Bath) Verrier. She had lived in North Scituate for 40 years previously living in West Warwick. Ellen had worked with the State of RI in the Department of Human Services. Ellen was a lover of all animals. She enjoyed spending time at the ocean, clamming, quahogging and fishing. She enjoyed spending time with her close friends that she considered family. She belonged to the First Universalist Church of Burrillville. She leaves her children, Scott Soares of Coventry, Synthia Stabile and her husband Brian of Warwick and Steven Soares and his wife Lorrie of West Warwick and 3 grandchildren Scott J. Soares II , Savannah J. Soares and Sage J. Soares all of Coventry. She leaves a brother William M. Verrier of Warwick. She was the sister of the late Ann M. Thomas. Visitation will be held Wednesday September 13th from 5-7pm in the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Funeral and Burial will be private.
