Ellen T. Cuculich (nee Beazley), age 90, passed away at home with her family by her side on Monday, June 20, 2022. Ellen is survived by her loving children, Carole Gainer, Mary Skerrett (Michael Sweeney), Nancy Dykstra (William), Tom Cuculich (Jaclin), and John Cuculich (Roseann); grandchildren, Colin Gainer (Ariana), Joseph Gainer, Paul Skerrett (Kerri), Kathryn Wachtor (Matt), William Dykstra (Kimberly), Mark Dykstra (Kristen), Eric Dykstra (Jessica), Laura Wyrick (Josh), Sophia Cuculich, Lillian Cuculich, Rachel Jablonski (Cody), and Rebecca Traina (Nick), numerous great-grandchildren; siblings, Robert, Bernard, Rita Hodson and Bernice Early; and sister-in-law to Ken Cuculich (Carol); and beloved aunt to many. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Thomas "Charles" Cuculich. Ellen will be remembered for being a proud member of St. Jude Catholic Church and former member of St. Jude Choir. Former parishioner of Queen of Martyrs (Altar and Rosary member) and St. Theodore. Former long-time employee of St. Xavier Bookstore. Services for Ellen will begin on Thursday, June 23, 2022 at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Rd. in New Lenox, with a visitation from 9-10:30am at the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Saint Jude Catholic Church, 241 W. 2nd Street in New Lenox, at 11am. Ellen will be laid to rest next to her husband at Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery in Alsip. In lieu of flowers donations to National Glaucoma Research in Ellen's name would be appreciated.
