Obituary Ella L. Wembley, a mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on May 6, 2023, in South Bend, Indiana. Born on November 11, 1954, in Chicago, Illinois, Ella affectionately known as Louise was the baby of six siblings. Ella is survived by her daughter, Nina Wembley; her granddaughter, Kadijah Simmons; and her two sisters, Joann Brown and Joyce McCoy, all of Chicago, Illinois. Ella was preceded in death by both parents and her only son Decotis C Kincaid. Ella's educational journey took her through some college, where she gained valuable knowledge and skills. She went on to have a successful career as a custodian. Ella's dedication to her profession was evident in her tireless efforts to provide the best possible service to those who relied on her. Ella's sense of humor was legendary like no other, she made her mark no matter where she went. She was very outspoken and full of life. Her wit and wisdom were admired by many, and her stories will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her. As we remember Ella, let us celebrate her life and honor her memory by continuing to spread kindness and laughter in our own lives. In doing so, we can ensure that her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
