Elizabeth Nix Reimer- Age 98-born December 20, 1920 It is of Great Joy that our Nanny has gone home to live in her eternal life with Jesus! She stepped into the presence of our Lord on Good Friday April 15th, 2019 at 8:40pm. She was reunited in heaven with her husband Clayton R. Reimer of 49 wonderful years. Clayton & Elizabeth were married in September of 1945. She was also reunited with her father Dester Nix & Mother Lacy L. Ingram, her sons Russell C. Reimer & Mathew C. Reimer & Thomas Reddish, her siblings Patsy Lowe & Stanley Sutton, Her grandchildren Timmothy Russell Reimer, Abigail Grace Murphy & Alexis Maria Carroll "Lexxi" Elizabeth was born in Franklin, North Carolina. She graduated high school in Waynesville, N.C. before marrying her life long love Clayton R. Reimer & becoming a military wife & devoted mother & later becoming the owner & president of Jacksonville Hearing Aid Center, Inc. She was a member of Lighthouse Assembly of God for many years. Elizabeth is survived by-Her sister Peggy Millard, Son-John Alfred Reimer (Louise), & Daughter-Julie Dawn Reimer (Julie Bug) Grandchildren-Douglas Reimer, Melinda Carter (Chris), Tim Reimer (Meredith), Marcus & Amanda Reimer, Michael King, Steven Reimer (Angela), Misty Zummerfield (Keith), Tina Reimer Bryant (Joel), Thomas & Jason Reimer (Wanda), Wesley & David Zipperer, Paul B. Carroll (Chyenne), Cameron & Chase Carroll, Christina Pike, Christopher Carter, Travis, Jacob, & Tom Reimer, Jase & Ashton O'neal, Bailey & Autumn Reimer, Nicholas Reimer (Christain) Ethan Reimer. Shayla, Paul lll & Easton Carroll, RJ Smith, Tyler J. Zipperer & Tiny Langford. Daughters-in-law include-Betty Hubbard Henderson, Deborah Bass Marfinetz, & Teresa Reimer. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 PM on Friday, April 26, 2019 at Jacksonville Memory Gardens Funeral Home. Graveside services officiated by Pastor Eric Osbourne will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday afternoon at Jacksonville Memory Gardens Cemetery. She will be remembered by her devotion to her husband, children, & grandchildren, her unconditional love for everyone, her generosity to all, and her love for Jesus!
