Elizabeth J MacIntyre, age 93, passed away peacefully on June 18, 2022. She was predeceased by her life partner of 35 years, Paul C Barone. Born in Norristown, PA on August 10, 1928, she was the daughter of the late William H. McGonigal and Gertrude (Bartlett) McManus. Betty worked as a phone operator, secretary and office manager. She retired in 1990 from ICI America. In the following years she would travel and spend time with family and friends. Betty also volunteered at Einstein Hospital and St Teresa of Avila School where she was known as the "Ice Cream Lady". In addition to her life partner, she was predeceased by her sister Hazel Klase, and brothers William McGonigal and Thomas Kent. She is survived by her half-brother Edward McManus and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral mass on Monday, June 27 at 10 AM at St Teresa of Avila Church, Audubon PA. Family will receive Relatives and Friends at the Church from 8:45 to 9:45 AM. Entombment will be in Saint Patrick's Mausoleum.
