Elizabeth "Lee" Drupieski, aged 98, passed away gently on October 4, 2023 Born March 17, 1925, Lee was a source of joy, resilience, and kindness She was a loving wife to her late husband, Henry Drupieski, whom she was married to for 59 years They moved to Bel Air, MD in 1952, where Lee lived for 63 years before relocating to Oakcrest in 2015 A devoted mother, she raised two wonderful children: Thomas (Jane) and Dr Mary Carroll Her legacy continued with four grandchildren: Christopher (Jennie), Brian, Joseph (Meaghan), Mark, and two great-grandchildren, Riley and awaited baby Maverick Lee is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends Lee enjoyed traveling, playing bridge, and square dancing Her faith was important to her, shown through her longtime membership of St Margaret's Roman Catholic Church She was predeceased by her loving sisters, Florence Rita Michalski and Irene Dempsey Lee Drupieski's life was a testament to her strength and enduring spirit; she will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered Donations may be made to the Catholic Community Care of Pastoral Administration of Oakcrest, checks may be sent to 8800 Walther Blvd posted to Pastoral Administration Family and friends will honor Lee's life on Tuesday, October 10, 10AM-11AM at the Oakcrest Chapel-8800 Walther Blvd , Parkville, MD 21234 with the funeral mass to begin at 11AM Lee will be laid to rest at Bel Air Memorial Gardens- 809 Rock Spring Rd Bel Air, MD 21014 (Everyone is to meet at the cemetery following the funeral mass ) To to the family or in memory of Elizabeth "Lee" Drupieski, please

James Louis Smith, Jr. March 31, 1959 - November 29, 2023 On Thursday, November 29, 2023, James Louis Smith, Jr. , affectionately known as Jim, was embraced into the arms of Jesus. A devoted husband, dad, and Pop, Jim's life was a testament to love, family, and his passions. Born on March 31, 1959, he lived a life filled with warmth, laughter, and unwavering faith. Jim's family always held a special place in his heart. His beloved wife, Robyn, was his partner in love for an incredible 47 years, sharing 44 years of marriage together. His legacy lives on through his children, Jamie, Jimmy, and Jenny, and their families, including grandchildren Tyler & Alisha, Jaeda, Melissa, Isabella, and Tucker, along with his great-grandchildren Eliana and Nova, and an eagerly anticipated great-grandson due in January 2024. Survived by his sister, Sandy Winfield (Phil), sister-in-law Cherie Smith (Dave), and their families, Jim's wide-reaching impact touched the lives of many, creating lasting memories and bonds. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and June, and his brother Dave. In honor of Jim's memory, the family kindly requests that, in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to the American Heart Association, American Cancer Society, or H. E. R. Legacy Scholarship at Harford Community College. Philippians 4:7 reminds us, "and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. " Romans 8:18 echoes the promise of eternal glory, "For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. " Jim's firm belief in salvation through Christ reassures his family and friends that they will be reunited in glory. Amen. A memorial service to celebrate Jim's life will be held on Thursday, November 7, 2023 at North Harford Baptist Church, 4008 Old Federal Hill Road, Jarrettsville, MD. Visitation will commence at 10:00 a. m. , with the service following at 10:30 a. m. A luncheon will be hosted in the Fellowship Hall from 11:30 a. m. -1:00 p. m. The burial will take place at Bel Air Memorial Gardens, 809 Rock Springs Road, Bel Air, MD, with a prayer at 2:00 p. m. Vernon Conroy, known affectionately as Dad and Poppy to many who knew him, passed peacefully at the age of 81 on November 26, 2023. Born on February 21, 1942, to the late Edward and Merrield Conroy, Vernon was a much-loved family man embraced by his sisters Sylvia, Patricia, and Lorraine. Vernon was the beloved husband to the late Sue Ann Conroy nee Russell for many beautiful years. He was a proud father to Loretta Hollifield (Chuck Miller), the late Colleen Hickman, son-in-law Ted Hickman, Kimberly Glaser (John Wiley), Carol Conroy, Tim Chalk, and Tammy (Clint) Elliot. His legacy continues through his numerous grandchildren: Charlie, Mindy, Danny, Garrett, Johnny, Jason, Hayden, Jake, Nick, Gwen, Nathan, Emily, Olivia, Abai, Collin, Ava, Caitlin, Gavin, Brigid, and Michaela. His joy was further multiplied by his great-grandchildren: Charlie III, Darren, Tyler, TayLynn, Rowan, and Scarlett. Famed as the life of the party, Vernon's love for life was infectious. A natural storyteller, Vernon held audiences in rapture as he alternated between tales of fishing adventures, including the time he accidentally caught a tiger shark, and spirited games of pool, poker, and missions in video games. Regardless, his ultimate joy was spending time with family. Be it out on the water with a fishing rod in hand, orchestrating the play on the pool, poker table or celebrating his loved ones, Vernon lived a life full of adventure, laughter, and warmth. He will be remembered as a mirthful, loving soul whose legacy will continue to live on through the many lives he touched. In his passing, Vernon leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and a life well-lived. His memory will continue to inspire his family and all who knew him, reminding them to live each day with joy, to cherish their loved ones, and to never miss an opportunity for a good laugh. His was a life filled with joy, and his memory will continue to bring smiles to the faces of those who loved him. Vernon Conroy will be deeply missed, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of his family and friends. His life was a celebration of joy, love, and family, and his memory will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know him. ROSEMARY GLESSING went to be with the LORD on November 20, 2023, after a lengthy illness in Baltimore Maryland. She was born on April 6, 1933, to European immigrants in Chicago, IL and raised on a farm in Winter WI. She married Herbert Glessing on June 12, 1954, after she graduated from the Holy Family Nursing School in Manitowoc, WI in 1953. The couple adventured to Sitka Alaska, and she worked for the USPHS in hospitals there for 2 years before starting their family in Kalispell, MT. She worked as a registered nurse in community health and the Head Start program for 20 years as a health nurse/coordinator. She was an active member of the St. Anns Roman Catholic church in Somers MT, the Mountain View Birthday Club and the red hat society. She loved nature, animals, traveling and maintaining a beautiful yard and flower gardens. She is predeceased in death by her husband Herbert Glessing, parents Joseph and Alice Van Mullem and her oldest brother Edmund Van Mullem. She is survived by her two children, Julie Baum in PA and Bruce Glessing in MD, Geraldine Hall in Tx, Albert Van Mullem/Christine of WI, and Joseph Van Mullem of MT. Other family members include son in law Jesse Baum, 4 grandchildren, Jamal Winkler/Hillary, Jennell Winkler, Tyler Baum/Melinda, Victoria Hess/Tim. Also 2 great grandchildren, Gabrielle Storey and Jameson Baum, a sister-in-law in WI and many nieces and nephews. Her beautiful smile, pure heart and love for all she knew will be truly treasured and missed. A special thank you to neighbors and friends who visited and attended to Rosemary the last several years.
