Elizabeth Combs Obituary

Elizabeth Ruth Combs, also lovingly known by family and friends as "Betty", of Potosi, Missouri, was born on August 13, 1939 in St Francois County, Missouri, a daughter of the late Walter Edgar Mull and the late Eunice Nellie (Weible) Mull. Betty passed away on Friday, October 6, 2023, having reached the age of 84. Those who remain to cherish her memory include her children: Rick Combs, Michelle Mosley, Lee (Summer) Combs; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; and brother, Dale Mull. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Betty was preceded in death by her parents: Walter & Nellie Mull; husband, Joseph Combs, who passed away on 10-20-2014; siblings: Carrol Mull, Edgar Mull, Patricia Richardson, and Jack Mull. Betty loved shopping and spoiling the grand kids, and loved her church family at First Christian Church of Festus. She enjoyed being a homemaker, a business owner, and loved telling stories about traveling. She enjoyed talking about growing up in skin town, aka "Desloge". Betty and her family lived in a lot of different states--always wanting to have new experiences. She is going to be greatly missed! No services will be held.
