Elizabeth Boyer Obituary

Elizabeth L. Boyer, 87, of Gary, West Virginia, passed away on August 30, 2023, in Gary, West Virginia. She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, and aunt. Elizabeth was born on November 11, 1935, in Saltville, Virginia, to Douglas Lester and Mary Roberts Lester. Elizabeth was an avid golfer and reader. She enjoyed spending her free time on the golf course, enhancing her skills and enjoying the beauty of the game. She was also a passionate reader, immersing herself in various genres and always expanding her knowledge. She was preceded in death by her parents; Husband: Lonnie Boyer; Son: Jeffrey Boyer; an infant son and three brothers. Elizabeth is survived by her sons, Thomas Boyer of Eckman, WV, and James Boyer of Hurricane, WV. She is also survived by her grandchildren, David Boyer of Bluefield, WV, Morgan Boyer of Hurricane, WV, and Kayla Kelly of Kentucky. Additionally, she is survived by her brother, Douglas Milton Lester of Mt Carmel, TN and Sister-in-Law Joann Boyer of Hemphill, WV, and a host of other family and friends. Elizabeth will be remembered for her kind and loving nature, her dedication to her family, and her zest for life. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
