Christina Maria “Tina” Davis, 72, of Magnolia, passed away Tuesday, February 20, 2024, at HCA Houston Healthcare Tomball. She was born July 24, 1951, in El Campo, to Henry John Kana and Elizabeth Krenek Kana.Tina graduated from Wharton County Junior College in 1971 and went to work for Exxon. She worked for 35 years at Exxon, later Exxon Mobil. Tina worked in the Supply Department with most of her years spent working in the Marketing Department. After retiring in 2006, Tina spent time taking Caribbean cruises and traveling to Alaska and Hawaii with her beloved husband Red. Tina loved playing Scrabble, watching the Astros, and spending time with her grandchildren.Tina, happily known as Goo-Gee for 19 years, enjoyed taking trips to Sam Rayburn Lake with her sister Barbara and her husband Bill with her family. Goo-Gee loved watching her grandson Dallas fish and play saxophone and loved watching her granddaughter Ava dance. Goo-Gee went to every concert, fishing weigh in, and recital to watch her grandchildren do what they love.Tina and Red are members of St. Matthias Catholic Church in Magnolia where Tina prayed the rosary before mass on Sunday mornings for over fifteen years.Tina is survived by her husband of forty-seven years, Dennis “Red” Davis and her daughter Kimberly Elizabeth Copeland and her husband David Copeland, and grandchildren Dallas Brady Copeland and Ava Christina Copeland. Tina is also survived by her brothers Gene and Tom Kana and sisters Barbara Kunetka and Rita Sifford.She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry John Kana and Elizabeth Krenek Kana, and brother Raymond Louis Kana.A viewing, and rosary will be prayed at 9:00 am on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, followed by a 10:00 am funeral mass at St. Matthias Catholic Church, 302 S. Shirley Jean Gibson, 86, of Magnolia, Texas, passed into eternal rest on February 18, 2024. A native of Iowa, she was born to the late William 'Elmer' and Frances Moore Lotspeich on November 17, 1937, in Fort Dodge, Iowa. Shirley graduated from Somer High School and moved to Omaha, Nebraska where she met her husband, Jack. They were married in Omaha on July 26, 1956. For the next 17 years, Shirley was a military wife and they moved multiple times while raising their five children. After Jack’s retirement from the Air Force, they moved to Satellite Beach, Florida and later relocated to Houston, Texas. Shirley enjoyed square dancing, painting, sewing, reading, and camping. When her daughters were young, she loved to sew them matching outfits. She will be also remembered for her Walmart runs on Saturday morning during every camp out with her children and grandchildren. Her grandchildren will always remember her holiday cookie assortment she gave out every year. She is survived by her five children: Colleen and husband Wayne Kehr, Kimberley and husband David Lamb, Jack Jr. and wife Debbie Gibson, Nancy and husband Bob Springfield, and Robert Gibson and partner Carrie Thornton. She is also survived by her eight grandchildren: Shaun and wife Stephanie Fekany, Jason Kehr, Brian Lamb, Derek Springfield and partner Jillian Temple, Megan and husband Bryant Kutac, Kelly Kehr and partner Jeff Maier, Jeffrey and wife Chasity Springfield and Amanda Gibson. She is also survived by her eight great-grandchildren: Peyton, Andrew, Kaylee, James, Leah, Ella, Ivy, and Evelyn. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Albert Gibson Sr. The family will gather in a private ceremony to reflect upon Shirley's enduring influence on their lives. Her gentle presence will be profoundly missed, yet her spirit will remain with all who were blessed to know her.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, John, and by their children: son Steven Wofford, his wife Carolina, and their son Steve; daughter ShaeLynn Gaines, her husband Adam, and their children Troy and Zachary; son Jonathan and his wife Carrie; son Timothy, his wife Michelle, and their daughter Aubrey; and by her brother Randy Gore and his wife Vickie. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Vickie Foster and Nancy Partow, and by her grandsons, Tyler and Cody Gaines. The family will receive visitors on February 24th from 1 PM to 2 PM at Klein Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 14711 FM 1488, Magnolia, Texas 77354, with funeral services immediately following. Internment will immediately follow the funeral services at the same location. Serving as pallbearers are: Steven Wofford, Adam Gaines, Jonathan Wofford, Timothy Wofford.
