Ronald (Ron) Dale Jensen passed away in the early morning in the presence of his family on November 4, 2023. He was born in Whittier, California, on January 30, 1958, to Ronald and Joan Jensen and is the oldest of his two siblings. Ron married his beautiful wife Sofia Miramontes Ruiz in Norwalk, California, on June 4, 1983. Ronald and Sofia had two children, Sonia Nicole Jensen, born on November 15, 1984, and Ryan Eugene Jensen, born on October 20, 1986. Ron was a loving, committed, and selfless father and husband. He had a great sense of humor and was full of loving sarcasm. Ron had a deep passion for music, playing guitar and jamming with his son in his bedroom. He had an adoration and deep interest in animals and nature, which led him to pursue a docent program at the LA Zoo. Ron graduated at the top of his docent class in April 2005 and became a certified animal educator, facilitating educational tours for schools and private events at the LA Zoo. Ron loved planning adventures and shared that passion with his family. They would go on desert hikes, embark on spontaneous road trips, go to concerts, and visit Disneyland on an almost weekly cadence. Ron created precious memories through these journeys and opened up a whole new world for his family to explore and appreciate. He built a family foundation rooted in endless love, tradition, values, fun, friendship, and support. Ron always put his family and friends first and would do anything to care for them. Ron was the epitome of a father and husband; his spirit and legacy will continue through his wife, daughter, and son. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www. montecitomemorialparkandmortuary. com for the Jensen family.Show more
