Obituary of Eleanor Tartamosa Rose "Tootsie" Tartamosa (nee Bridi), better known as Granny, passed away on February 5, 2019 at the age of 96. Born January 9, 1923 and raised in Vineland, NJ; Rose met and married the love of her life on November 2, 1946, Anthony Tartamosa, who preceded her in death in 1967. Rose touched the hearts of so many as she was filled with love and compassion. Her brilliant smile will be forever misssed by her family and friends. Beloved wife of the late Anthony; Devoted mother of Connie (Frank) Masso and Joseph (Suzanne) Tartamosa; Loving grandmother of Anthony (Glenda) and Christopher (Annette) Masso, Anthony (Jade), Thomas (Shannon) and Joseph (Michelle) Tartamosa and John (Melissa) Torrence, and great grandmother of Anthony, Francesca, Isabella, Nicholas, Thomas, Anthony and Jack; Dear sister of the late Edith, Mary, Paulina, Rita and Joseph. Tootsie was involved for many years with UNICO National - Pennsauken Chapter as well as Sons of Italy Enrico Fermi Lodge. Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation and Funeral on Monday from 9 to 11 AM at the Church of St. Mary, 2001 Springdale Road in Cherry Hill, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Cherry Hill. Memorial donations may be made in lieu of flowers to Samaritan Hospice, 5 Eves Drive, Suite 300, Marlton, NJ 08053.
