"Devin Rashad Jeter was born to Sammy Lee Jeter and Aundrea Laynette McFadden. His sunrise was June 19, 1990. He departed this earthly life as Sunset on February 16, 2024, at Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center - Charlotte, North Carolina. Devin attended Windsor Park Elementary, Piedmont Open IB Middle School, Garinger High School, and Hopewell High School; while later achieving his diploma. While in his youth Devin was a member of Boy Scouts of America and participated in the Johnston YMCA summer programs. While He had many good times growing up in Hampshire Hills and Idlewild South Devin enjoyed listening to music, taking pictures, and rapping. He later pursued a career as a forklift operator at Sam\u0027s Club. Devin will always be remembered for his loving smile and the way that he told jokes. Devin freely shared his time, resources, and affection with those around him without expecting anything in return. Devin had an unwavering spirit in his commitment to those he loved and remained loyal and devoted through thick and thin. Those who knew Devin’s considerate spirit knew he took the feelings and preferences of others into account when making decisions or taking action. Devin Rashad Jeter will be dearly missed by all who knew him. May he rest in peace. Joe Leroy Flowers, 62 of Pony Barn Road, Fallston, passed away on Wednesday, February 28, 2024 at Carolinas Medical Center - Charlotte. Born in Catawba County, NC on July 24, 1961, he was the son of the late Frank Leroy Flowers and Geneva Evelyn Breakfield Flowers. Joe was a retired truck driver from Piedmont Transportation of Vale and was a member of Friendly Chapel Baptist Church. Joe was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather to his wife, son, daughter and grandchildren. He loved all of them very much. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Forrest Flowers, Avery Flowers and Jimmy Flowers. Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Donna Radford Flowers; son, Forrest Flowers of Fallston; daughter, Patricia Koschny and husband, Konrad of Fallston; five grandchildren, Kristina Koschny, Joseph Koschny, Konrad Koschny, Luke Koschny and Isaiah Koschny; five brothers, Glenn Flowers and wife, Lynn of Vale, George Flowers and wife, Kathy of Lawndale, Earl Flowers of Reidsville, Bobby Flowers and wife, Rhonda of Kings Mountain and Frank Flowers and wife, Lori of Belwood; a sister, Lois Flowers of Shelby and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 3, 2024 from 2:00pm to 3:00pm at Friendly Chapel Baptist Church. A Graveside Service will be held on Sunday, March 3, 2024 at 3:00pm at Friendly Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Norris Willis officiating.
