Eleanor Blackwood Obituary

Eleanor Susan Sabatino Blackwood, age 88, of Lubbock, Texas passed away on Thursday, April 20, 2023. Ellie was born in Uxbridge, Massachusetts, to Donato and Angelina Sabatino. She graduated from Uxbridge High School. She married Joe Blackwood, May 16, 1959. Ellie was a banker for many years before her retirement. She was a member of the Christ the King Cathedral Catholic Church and enjoyed sewing, walking and gardening. Those left to cherish her memory are her 4 children, 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Ellie was preceded in death by her parents, husband Joe Blackwood, and 2 granddaughters.
