Elaine Dagle, age 87 passed away at Life Care of Morgan County September 28, 2023. Elaine walked with the Lord daily, always knowing that He carried her many times throughout her life. She eagerly looked forward to when He would carry her home. Her prayers have now been answered. Knowing that, we have peace and rejoice with her. We love you and it’s not goodbye, it’s just we’ll see you soon. Elaines favorite poem was "Footprints". (See below) She is preceded in death by her oldest son Jimmy Dagle. Elaine leaves behind her sons Michael Dagle, Steven Dagle and wife Laura, Bobby Dagle and wife Nicole, a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren as well as the countless friends and patients whos lives she’s touched over the years. She will be missed by all who knew her. Elaines wishes were to be cremated with no services. Schubert Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Elaine Dagle. "Footprints" One night a man had a dream. He dreamed he was walking along the beach with the Lord. Across the sky flashed scenes from his life. For each scene, he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand; One belonging to him, the other to the Lord. When the last scene of his life flashed before him, he looked back at the footprints in the sand & noticed that many times along the path of his life, there was only one set of footprints. He noticed that it happened at the lowest & saddest times in his life. This bothered him & he question the Lord. "Lord, you said that once I decided to follow you, you'd walk with me all the way. Why would you leave me when I needed you most?" The Lord replied, "My child, I love you & would never leave you. During your times of trial & suffering, when you saw only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you. "
