Eileen Spotts Obituary

Eileen M. Spotts, 85, of Belleville, passed away on Sunday, May 7, 2023, at Valley View Haven. Born September 15, 1937, in Everett, she was the daughter of the late Miles R. and Inez M. Heller McClain. She was predeceased in death by her sister, Freda Roher. On September 4, 1971 she married David E. Spotts, who survives. In addition to her husband, Eileen is survived by two step-children; Crystal Spotts, Timothy Spotts and his wife, Sherri, and a step-daughter in law, Lisa Spotts. Eileen was a 1955 graduate of State College High School and Thompson Business School. She retired from Penn State University after working in an administrative capacity for various departments. Following retirement, Eileen enjoyed traveling out West, touring national parks and visiting the island of Hawaii. Not one to be idle, she loved to paint as well as create ceramic "Gone with the Wind" lamps. Visitation will be from 10 a. m. until 12 p. m. , Friday, May 12, 2023 at Fairbrook United Methodist Church, 4201 West Whitehall Road, Pennsylvania Furnace. A funeral service will follow the visitation at 12:00 pm with Pastor Lori Steffensen officiating. Entombment will be in Centre County Memorial Park following the service.
