Anita Giavanna Passerello, 93, of Davenport, Florida died peacefully on Thursday, November 9, 2023. Anita was born in New York City, New York, March 25, 1930, to the late Cesar Pirro and Mary (Macri) Pirro. She had a successful career working with computers and assembling parts. She met and married her late husband Americo J. Passerello, and moved to Flemington, New Jersey. He passed away in 1995. After retirement, she moved to central Florida in 1997 to be near her sisters, Valerie, and Emily. Anita enjoyed traveling, bingo, volunteering with the Children's Cancer Base Camp, and was a member of the Red Hat Club. Anita is survived by her nephew, Thomas A. Passerello, III along with his wife Dana L. Passerello; and great-nephew, Thomas A. Passerello, IV, and several other nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 6, 2023, from 10:00 AM- 11:00 AM at the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ 08822. There will be an 11:00 AM service outside of mass at the funeral home, followed by entombment with her late husband at St. Bernard's Roman Catholic Mausoleum, 551 NJ-28, Bridgewater, NJ 08807. Initial arrangements were under the direction of Baldwin Brothers Funeral & Cremation Society, Florida.
