Edy Rose Buettner Clark passed away peacefully on June 20, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Omaha, NE on July 24, 1956; the daughter of Gerald and Eleanora Buettner. Edy graduated from Mercy Catholic High School in 1974. Edy earned an Associate Degree from Southeast Community College. She spent her working career serving in various vocational support roles including a number of years supporting individuals with developmental disabilities. Edy was devoted to her faith, family and friends. She had a great sense of humor. She was kind and very giving. She was a mom to all kids in the neighborhoods in which she lived. Edy was easy to talk to and a great conversationalist. She told great stories. Edy was truly an Angel on Earth and transformational to those who knew her. Edy is survived by her husband, Roger Clark; sons Danny Vanourney, Nate Friedman, step son Craig Clark and daughter Christianna Kellner; sister Blinda Weber; brothers Jerry, Tom and Randy Buettner. Edy had 7 grandchildren. She was proceeded in death by her parents Gerald and Eleanora Buettner and sister Mary Cords. Visitation is from 6-8 PM with Rosary at 7 PM on Thursday, June 23, 2022, at Butherus, Maser & Love, 4040 A Street, in Lincoln, NE. A Memorial Service will be at 10 AM Friday, June 24, 2022, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 6111 Morrill Ave, in Lincoln, NE. Memorials may be given to the family for charitable donation to be made in Edy's memory at a later date.
