Edwin Savage Obituary

Edwin James Savage, 85, of Salisbury, departed this life on Saturday, May 6, 2023, at Wicomico Nursing Home in Salisbury. Born in Smithfield, VA, he was the son of the late James Savage and Eunice Poole Savage. His wife, Cheryl Savage, also preceded him in death. Mr. Savage served in the United States Coast Guard. Prior to retiring, he was a welder. He will be lovingly remembered by: two children, Alisa Turlington and Michael Savage; four sisters, Doris Uzzle (Elton), Janice Davis (James Hill), Pheanie Chapman, and Brenda Savage Lewis; one brother, Ernest Savage; six grandchildren, Joshua Savage, Michael Savage, Jr. , Aaron Savage, Brandon Savage, Derrick Turlington, and LaTisha Dismuke; 12 great-grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents and wife, he was also preceded in death by two brothers, Gene Savage and Vance Albert Savage. Mr. Savage will lie in repose on Thursday, May 18, 2023, from 12 to 2 PM at Lewis N. Watson Funeral Home, P. A. , 1618 West Road, Salisbury. The funeral service will begin at 2 PM.
