TOLAN, Edward Charles. of Watertown, May 6, 2023. Age 90. Beloved husband of the late Mary Margaret (Brennan) Tolan. Loving father of Mary Rudser of Winthrop, Edward Tolan, Jr. & his wife Judy of Billerica, Joseph Tolan & his wife Kathryn of Belmont, Ann Lampasona & her husband Anthony, Jane Monahan & her husband Sean, and John Tolan & his wife Suzanne all of Watertown. Dear brother of the late John J. Tolan, Jr. & Mary E. LeConti. Loving grandfather of Emma & Matthew Rudser, Jillian, Bobby & Allie Tolan, Mary, Daniel, & Annie Tolan, Jessica Machado & her husband John, Sarah, Olivia, & Anthony Lampasona, and Jake & Ellie Monahan. Also survived by many nieces & nephews. US Navy Veteran, Korea. Retired letter carrier, USPS. Member of KOC Council 155 & AOH Div. 14. Former Athletic Director of St. Patrick High School. Lifelong Celtics fan, Ed attended their 1st game on Nov. 2, 1946. A visitation will be held Tuesday May 16, from 10 AM to 11:30 AM in the MacDonald Rockwell & MacDonald Funeral Home at 270 Main St. Watertown followed by Funeral Mass in the Church of St. Patrick, 212 Main St. Watertown at 12 Noon.
