Survived by his wife, Donna C. Pilcher; children, Lori Pilcher, Terri (Rick) DiMaggio, Cheryl Hochheimer; grandchildren, Mandi, Casey, Gianna, Matt, Michael. Several nieces and nephews. All services for Edward will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Humane Society of Greater Rochester at Lollypop Farm in Edward's memory.

Sarah A. Quirk of Churchville, NY, formerly of Spencerport, NY, passed away on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at the age of 79. Sarah is preceded in death by her mother, Sarah (Noto) DioGuardi; siblings, Sam (Delores) DioGuardi, Joseph DioGuardi, Patrick (Fran) DioGuardi, Charles (Nancy) DioGuardi, Ida (Gerald) Meek, Richard DioGuardi, Joann (Alan/ Richard) Sullivan/Prew, brother-in-law, Daniel Brennan, Anna (Jack) Sullivan, Donna DioGuardi, Carmine DioGuardi, and sister-in-law Dorothea DioGuardi. Sarah is survived by her husband, James J. Quirk; sons, John (Kathy Callon) Quirk of Irondequoit, Timothy (Audrey) Quirk of Bergen, and Andrew (Dani DeVito) Quirk of Atlanta; grandchildren, Jesse Quirk, Timothy Quirk, Ximena Quirk, Fausto Quirk, Nicole (Kery) Schmidt, and Katelynn Callon; great grandchildren, Ryder, Dylan, and Mason; siblings, Julie Brennan, John (Peggy) DioGuardi, Tony DioGuardi, Sharon (Jim) Farrell; sisters-in-law, Josie DioGuardi and Roe DioGuardi; many beloved nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Born and raised in Mt. Morris, NY, Sarah was an accomplished secretary for the Spencerport Central School District, a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to many. Sarah was an active member of Saint Brigid's Catholic Church in Bergen, NY where she participated in many forms of service, including the Ladies of Charity, working as a greeter and lector, and she was a member of the Third Order Mercedarians. Sarah enjoyed reading, golfing, singing in a choir group called The Golden Notes, quilting, sewing, and making crafts. Sarah enjoyed traveling to visit friends and family around the country, and she wintered in Florida for many years. Family and friends are welcome to call on Sunday, December 10th at Walker Brothers Funeral Home, 15 West Avenue, Spencerport, NY 14559 from 1-4 pm. Her Catholic funeral mass will be at 11 am on Monday December 11 at Saint Brigid's Church, 18 Gibson Street, Bergen, NY 14416 with a reception to follow on site. Johanna "Jo" Chapman BYRON - Passed away at age 79 on November 13, 2023. Johanna is predeceased by her parents, Josephine and Edward Vargo; husband, Dayle Chapman; sister-in-law, Faith Vargo. She is survived by her children, Sheila (Todd) Galen, Michael Nowak, Tammy Roviso, and Scott Nowak; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; siblings, Eddie (Linda) Vargo, Bobby Vargo, and Doreen Vargo; nieces & nephews; and beloved cat, Dusty "Dustmop". David Feeney

David F. Feeney "Dave" Spencerport -74, passed away on November 15, 2023 in his home surrounded by family. Dave is preceded in death by his parents Vern and Erma Jane Feeney. He is survived by his loving wife, Joanne; daughter, Noelle (Chris) Burley; son, David (Jennifer) Feeney; granddaughters, Sarah, Emily, and Ashley; brothers and sister, Tim (Marica Letky), Susan (Jack) Schleyer, Greg, and Christopher; many cousins, nieces, and nephews. David was born in Batavia to Erma Jane Feeney and Vernon Feeney on August 7, 1949. He went to high school at Cardinal Mooney before attending college in Buffalo. He went on to earn his apprenticeship and join the Sheet Metal Local 46 Union for over 50 years. He was a devoted husband, father, and Papa to his granddaughters. Dave loved spending as much time as possible at his cottage on Silver Lake. He was involved with Spencerport Junior Baseball. He was a public servant for the Town of Ogden for over 25 years serving as Town Councilman and Zoning Board chairman. He devoted many years to the St. John's Church. Visitation will be held at the funeral home, 15 West Ave. Spencerport, NY on Tuesday November 21, 2023, from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. Funeral service will be held at St. John's Church, 55 Martha St. Spencerport, NY 14459 on Wednesday November 22, 2023, at 11:00am. Mark Willams

Mark R. Williams, 58, died peacefully on November 5, 2023 after a long illness. He was raised in Spencerport, NY. His last residence was with EPI (Empowering People's Independence) in Henrietta, NY. Although Mark had some disabilities, he was always up for any social event. Those who know Mark might recognize his 2 favorite sayings: "Thank God no snow!" Or, "Smile. It makes people wonder what you're up to. " Mark was always friendly to everyone, including strangers. He loved being around people. If someone was having a difficult time, Mark would be the person to reach out to help. Mark is predeceased by his father, Alvin Williams, his mother, Joan Williams, his brothers, Kevin Williams and Darryl Williams. He is survived by his sisters, Jackie (Tom Wulf) Williams of Byron, NY and Teresa Williams of Ireland, and his brother, Patrick Williams of Spencerport, NY and a small extended family of relatives. He's also survived by his "adopted brothers" from EPI: Tracy Bartkowiak, Terry Hooper, Kirk Matthews, Brian Polle, and Erik Weslowski. We thank all EPI employees for their care of Mark as he was a resident for over 20 years. A special thank you goes out to Dave Zambito. There are no calling hours. Robert C. Kruse, 66, of Churchville, NY passed away on October 25, 2023. He was born at Scott AFB in Shiloh Valley, IL in 1957 to Beverly Ann Kruse (Reeves) and Charles Leonard Kruse. He was preceded in death by his son Shawn Kruse; parents Charles and Beverly; and brother Ron. He is survived by his daughter Stephanie (Antoine) Williams; daughter-in-law Clarissa (Michael) White; grandchildren Layla, Camilla, Wyatt, Adeline, Van and siblings Rick, Renee, and Randy. Rob was an avid hunter, fisherman, and motorcyclist. He was a successful business owner, fixer of all things big and small, and someone you could always count on. More importantly Rob was a devoted father, grandfather,and friend. His selflessness and generosity could be seen by all who knew him. He taught by example, led with compassion, and always put others first. We are very fortunate to have known and loved him. We miss him dearly, but he will continue to live on in our hearts and memories. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday November 10th, 2023, 4 pm - 8 pm at Thomas X. Richard Schilling

Age - 75

November 2, 2023

(Churchville, NY) Rick was called home to the Lord October 30, 2023 at the young age of 75. Survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Gail (Bourdeau) Schilling, his sister, Sr John Francis Schilling, OSP of Baltimore, Maryland, and brother, John Schilling of Fort Worth, Texas. Rick is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, including Steve VanTroost. Rick retired from Eastman Kodak after 32 years of service. A quiet man, Rick possessed a great sense of humor. Inducted in the Rochester Bowling Hall of Fame, he also enjoyed years of fishing trips to the Thousand Islands with his good friends. He and Gail shared a lifelong rooting passion for the Boston Red Sox, visiting spring training many times. Gail and Rick enjoyed years of traveling, making memories and many friendships together. These are a legacy Gail can lean on as she begins a new season. Rick was her best friend and she will cherish their every memory. Thank you to all of you who have played a significant role in Rick's life and gave him a lifetime of joy, laughter and many wonderful days. He was always happy and lived his life well. Lee Allen Zurick, 83 entered into heaven on October 28th, 2023 following a hard fought battle with Lewy Body Dementia and Parkinson's. Lee is predeceased by parents, Onalee (Soles) Zurick and William Zurick; brother, Roger Zurick (Cynthia); sister-in-law, Karen (Gales) Hancock; brother-in-law, Roger Gales (Susan). He is survived by his wife, Linda (Gales) Zurick; daughter, Lori Zurick (Michael Pierce); son, David Zurick; brothers, James (Rosemary) Zurick, Raymond (Carol) Zurick; sisters, Martha Moats Zurick (Omer), Candace Girardi (Michael); brother -in-law, Rev. Dennis Hancock (Janice), David Gales (Kathy). Many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews. His family would like to thank the Edna Tina Wilson Living Center and Rochester Regional Health for Lee's excellent and loving care and support. Lee was born in Winstead, Pennsylvania. He attended college at Greenville University in Illinois and Nazarene Bible college in Colorado. Lee retired from Kodak and was very devoted to his family, church and God. He loved Gardening, fishing, hunting and coin collecting. He was very patriotic and took great interest in history. Age - 76

Left this world on October 30th, 2023 at the age of 76. She was born to Dorothy and Thomas Thibeault on April 20th, 1947, in Malone NY. After graduating from high school, she moved to Rochester, NY where she met her loving husband, John Hoomans. Together they had 2 children, Heather Goetzman and Hans (Bree) Hoomans. Marla was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister and friend. She loved spending time working in her garden, quilting, decorating for the holidays and mostly Christmas. She loved car rides and shared many special trips with her husband John. Marla spent her career working with disabled children, but her biggest accomplishment was her beautiful family and being known as the best Oma's ever to her 4 grandchildren Jakob and Ella Goetzman and Ashton and River Hoomans. The bond she shared with her family was one that everyone around her loved and enjoyed. She will continue her legacy of love through the life of her family and all that knew her. Calling hours will be held Saturday November 4th from 1-4 PM at Walker Brothers Funeral Home in Spencerport NY. A Church service will be held on Monday November 6th at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Hilton NY, at 4 pm. Internment will be Tuesday November 7th at 10 am at Garland Cemetery in Brockport NY. Passed- October 28th, 2023, Beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. Joan is predeceased by her loving husband, Richard "Dick"; brother, Joseph McCormack, and granddaughter Madeline Gee. She is survived by her children, Thomas (Rae Lynn), Colleen, Bridgett (Paul) Gee, Sharon (Mark) McCarthy, Daniel (Rosemary), Michael, and Richard. Along with eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren and her beloved cats Dewey & Buddy. Born in Archbald Pennsylvania. Her family moved to Rochester where she attended Jefferson High School and graduated from RIT. Joan spent her life raising her family and as a nutritionist at Highland Hospital. Joan loved her family and friends, including her social "Joan Club. " She lived a wonderful, beautiful life full of love. Special thank you to Melissa Macomber from Donna's Home Sweet Home for taking such great care of our mother and to RLC Home services for their dedicated care. We love you mom.
