Edward L. Peerman, 82, of Evansville, passed away Monday, June 20, 2022 at the home of his sister and brother-in-law. Ed was born September 30, 1939 in Evansville to the late Dalton and Martha Aleta (Garrett) Peerman. He retired from Whirlpool Corporation after 40 years of service, where he worked as a carpenter in the carpenter’s shop. He was a member of Carpenter’s Local 224 and a veteran of the United States Navy. Ed enjoyed the outdoors and working his land on his Kubota tractor. He loved to hunt with his family, fish and woodworking. He took great pride in his vegetable garden and enjoyed canning and preserving his produce. Surviving Ed are a son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Kristin Peerman; one daughter and son-in-law, Tracy and Kyle Hoelfing; a sister and brother-in-law, Tina English and Kenneth Slaughter and four grandchildren, Dalton Peerman, Emma Peerman, Blake Silva and Brooke Silva.
