Edward J. Howe, age 92, affectionately known as "Ed" passed away in Brighton, Michigan on Saturday, May 6, 2023. Ed was born on May 9, 1930, in Hartland, Michigan to Frank and Gladys Howe. Ed was a proud Veteran of the United States Army serving in the Korean War. Ed was an avid fisherman. Most important to Ed was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Loving father of Debbie (Joe) Loepke and Linda (Mike) Foelter. Dear grandfather of Christian Loepke, CPT. Dwight Zieglar, Tony Zieglar, Mike (Shannon) Foelter, Justin (Tabatha) Foelter, and Todd Foelter. Loved great-grandfather of Courtney and Mallory Foelter & Luke and Noah Zieglar. A graveside service and committal prayers will take place on Thursday, May 11, 2023, in Riddle Cemetery in Oceola Township at 10:00 AM.
