"Donald Forest Perryman of Achille, Oklahoma was born on May 2, 1942, in Livermore, California to Pete and Voncille (Lannom) Perryman. Don passed away on Thursday, November 30, 2023, in Denison, Texas at the age of 81. Don moved with his family to Achille and was a graduate of Achille High School. He later married Pauline Head on June 6, 1962 and they have been blessed with 60 years of marriage. Don was a self-employed business owner and he enjoyed fishing, camping, and he loved to spend time with his family and friends. Don was preceded in death by his daughter Annette Perryman; parents Pete and Voncille Perryman and brother in law Earl Wakefield. Don is survived by his wife Pauline Perryman of the home; son Forest Perryman of Achille, OK; granddaughter Presley Martello and husband Jacob of Achille, OK; grandson Donald "Miles" Perryman of Achille, OK; grandson Brandon Ford and wife Selah Briedwell of Durant, OK; brother Mike Perryman and wife Brenda of Achille, OK; sister Charlotte Wakefield of Achille, OK; 3 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other friends and family. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, December 4, 2023, at Rosewood Cemetery in Achille, OK. Pastor Roger Speers will officiate. She passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family. Marlene\u0027s life was a testament to love, resilience, and a vibrant spirit. On June 24, 1955, she joined hands in matrimony with Maynard David Week in her hometown of Rochester, Minnesota. They loved to travel together. Once married, their journey took them many places where they would live including Nebraska, Texas, and Australia, where they lived for 3 years. Together, they forged a bond that withstood the tests of time, creating a foundation of love and partnership that lasted throughout their remarkable journey together. From an early age, Marlene displayed a passion for life, engaging in activities that brought her immense joy. Growing up, she was known for her love for ice skating and gymnastics. Her commitment to these pursuits showcased her dedication and discipline, traits that would accompany her throughout her life. Marlene was a cherished member of the Parkside Baptist Church in Denison, where her faith played a central role in shaping her character and guiding her actions. Her spirituality was a source of strength and comfort, providing solace to both herself and those fortunate enough to share in her company. She was deeply involved with Bible study and church at The Forum where she lived in Phoenix, Arizona for the last two and a half years. Her zest for life extended beyond the spiritual realm. Marlene found joy in playing the piano, water skiing, showcasing her prowess on the tennis court, and exploring the depths of the ocean through scuba diving. She also had a passion for singing and dancing. Her diverse interests illuminated the richness of her character and the fullness with which she embraced the world around her. An avid traveler, Marlene cultivated a deep appreciation for different cultures and experiences. Her adventurous spirit led her to explore the world, creating memories that will forever be cherished by those who accompanied her on these journeys. In addition to her diverse pursuits, Marlene also expressed her creativity through ceramics, leaving behind beautiful pieces that serve as lasting reminders of her artistic talent and passion. Marlene Week is survived by her devoted spouse, Maynard Week of Pottsboro, Texas; her three children, Sheryl Vadala and husband Rob of Coppell, Texas; Susan Ray and husband Douglas of Weatherford, Texas; and Barbara Week of Phoenix, Arizona. Ray is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Sherry Hooks Wallis of Pottsboro, Texas, his son, Toby Wallis of Pottsboro, Texas, and his sister, Susan Wallis Green of Houston, Texas. He was also a devoted grandfather to three cherished grandchildren: Kristina Kenney and her husband Colton of South Carolina, Tyler Wallis and his fiancee Kayla of Missouri, and Sammy Wallis of Pottsboro. Ray had a special place in his heart for his mother-in-law, Virginia Hooks, and his sister-in-law, Kathy Wallis of Arizona. "Robert Carlton Bauer, "Bob" to all who knew and loved him, passed away on October 20, 2023, at the age of 89. Bob was born on June 9, 1934, in Houston TX. He touched the lives of many with his warmth, dedication, and unwavering commitment to his family, community, and country. He was a kind man who deeply loved his children and grandchildren, and he was so very proud of them all. Bob attended the University of Colorado School of Architecture, graduating at the University of Houston. He enlisted in the Army accepting his commission as officer on July 21, 1958, Ft. Sill, Oklahoma. After serving his active duty he continued his years of military service through the Army Reserve, retiring as Captain. His passion for artillery and firearms led him to become a National Champion in shooter competitions throughout the US. He was an alumni member of the Army 90th Division Association. Bob met his wife, Eloise, on a blind date. They married a year later in 1959 in Dallas, TX. Together they had their children Robin and Cary. During their years together in Arlington, TX, Bob became a respected successful custom home builder in Arlington, TX. Not settling for retirement, Bob relocated to Pottsboro, TX. He bought an old motel known as Holiday on Texoma, refurbished it and operated his hospitality business for over 30 years. His favorite and most fun guests were the many Lake Texoma fishing guides and their clients. During these years, he was an active member of the Pottsboro Chamber of Commerce. He sold his motel business in his seventies and not being able to sit idle, he restored a San Manuel sailboat. Then at 80 years old he began his 2yr passion project, the complete restoration of his Willys Jeep, a 1966 CJ5A Jeep. Robert\u0027s legacy lives on through his loving family. He is survived by his daughter, Robin Foster of New Braunfels, Texas, and his son, Cary Bauer, and wife, Annette, of Pottsboro, Texas. His grandchildren, Carl Foster of New Braunfels, Texas, Cody Bauer and wife Brittany of Justin, Texas, and Courtni Bauer of Pottsboro, Texas, who remember him fondly and with deep love. In addition, he leaves behind his great-grandchildren, Logan Newburn of Covington, Texas, and Blake O. Bauer of Justin, Texas. A graveside service with military honors will be held at 2 p. m. on Friday, October 27, 2023, at Locust Cemetery, Mill Creek Road, Pottsboro, Texas 75076. Prior to the service, a visitation will take place from 5 to 7 p. m. on Thursday, October 26, 2023, at Johnson-Moore Pottsboro Chapel, 511 FM 120, Pottsboro, Texas 75076.
