Edna Malus Obituary

On May 8, 2023, Edna Ann Malus, formerly of E. Pittsburgh and North Braddock, passed away peacefully in Turtle Creek. Edna was the beloved wife of the late Charles (Bill) Malus Sr. She was a lifelong member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in E. Pittsburgh where she served in many roles throughout the years. She loved to read, sew, bake and watch old Western movies. Edna was also the beloved twin sister of Rita M. Burke. She also found great joy in her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Edna leaves behind to celebrate her life her children, Linda (Tim) VanDyke, Charles "Bill" (Marion) Malus Jr. , and MaryEdna (Neil) Sunkel; her grandchildren, Sara (Mike) Royce, Suzanne VanDyke, Christopher (Robin) Malus, Adam (Roxanne) Malus, Anne Neithrcoat, and Jon (Lexi) Neithercoat; her great-grandchildren, Mike, Katie, Nick, Cheyanne, Olivia, and Chris, and Timmy, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Friends are welcome Friday from 2-8 p. m. at Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home & Crematory; 1111 Monroeville Ave. ; Turtle Creek, PA 15145; (412) 823-9350. A Funeral Service will be held Saturday at 11 a. m. in Holy Trinity Lutheran Church.
