He married Guadalupe Martinez on May 12th, 1967, in Snyder, Texas. He liked mechanic work on vehicles, working on lawnmowers and fishing. He was a loving dedicated father and husband. He loved to make everyone smile and laugh. He had a strong personality. He was never afraid to tell it how it was. He loved to see how everything worked. Anyone who ever met Ruben, could not forget how hard he worked for his family and friends. He was always ready to lend a hand to anyone who needed it. He was truly one of a kind and will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Mrs. Judy Faye Ragland, 64, of Hermleigh, TX, died on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, at Cogdell Memorial Hospital in Snyder, TX. Judy Faye Ragland was born on June 7, 1959, in Snyder, TX, to V.L. Buchanan and Joyce Kellner. Judy was one of a kind, some would say the life of the party. She never met a stranger and had the biggest heart and hugs. She was willing to help anybody no matter what. Our home was always filled with the kids and their friends, and the yard with their bikes. Our home was always filled with love. She met the love of her life, Jimmy, in August of 1984. They married June 1, 1985. Together they raised four children and a nephew. She was a teacher’s aide with special children, and during that time she was diagnosed with cancer, but being the fighter that she was, she beat it. She then worked as the Curriculum Secretary until 2006. She then moved to Hermleigh, TX, and became the manager of American Legion Post. She loved her veterans until she became disabled. But the people she loved most with all of her heart was her husband, four kids, 14 grandkids, 5 great grand kids, and her puppy Little Bit. They were her world, and in return she will be deeply missed by all. She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Ragland, Hermleigh, TX; 2 daughters, Brandy and husband Phillip Mann, League City, TX, Amber and husband Michael Eneks, Deer Park, TX; 2 sons, Wesley and wife Traci Collins, Baytown, TX, Sam Shaver, Sheridan, TX; father, V.L. Mrs. Aguirre was born on June 2, 1939, in Bejucos, Mexico, to Encarnacion and Norberta (Benitez) Arellano. She married Salvador B. Aguirre on May 11, 1957, in Mexico. She was preceded in passing by her love Salvador on September 15, 2018, after 61 years of marriage. Mrs. Aguirre had a love for gardening roses, sewing, traveling, and loved going out to eat with her family. We knew her as a Christmas fanatic, with her house being the brightest on the street for Christmas, and lights that stayed up year round. She was devoted to her faith and to the Catholic church. Mrs. Aguirre was known as "Mamita" by her loved ones, and will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother. Billy Joe Stephens, 86, of Snyder, Texas, went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 12, 2024. Mr. Stephens was born on June 15, 1937, to Wilburn and Ollie (Mosco) Stephens in Panama, Oklahoma. After marrying the love of his life, Joyce Stephens, on August 31, 1957, Bill and Joyce started Stephens Office Supply & Printing in 1966. Bill was well-known throughout the community for his work ethic and selfless nature. He served and cared for many people throughout his 57 years of owning Stephens Office Supply & Printing. Of much more importance to Mr. Stephens than his business was his family. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, brother, uncle, grandpa, and great-grandpa. While working and after his retirement in 2023, Bill spent most of his time with family. He loved spending time with Joyce, their children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He attended First Baptist Church of Snyder, Texas. He also enjoyed fishing and trips to the lake. Mr. Stephens was preceded in death by his parents, Wilburn and Ollie Stephens; brother, Wilburn M. Stephens, Jr.; brother, Sam Stephens; sister-in-law, Virginia Fulks; sister-in-law, Anna Stephens; sister-in-law, Kathy Stephens; mother-in-law, Opal Brown; and sister-in-law, Judy Ashley; nephew, Wesley Stephens.
