Earl Tatum Obituary

Earl Lee Tatum, 84, of Cleveland, Arkansas passed away Monday, May 8, 2023, at home surrounded by his family. He was born in Cash, Arkansas on October 8, 1938, to the late Andrew and Edna Tatum. Once a bass fisherman, he came to love crappie fishing. He gave a lot of crappie fillets to Bingo at Scotland Senior Center. He was a very successful deer hunter for over 50 years and Papa to a family of hunters. Earl retired from a box factory, moved to the country, and cleaned out commercial chicken houses in and around the Scotland area. He also became a partner in a horse hay business. He is survived by Sharon, his wife of 59 years, son, Wesley Tatum (Grace), daughter, Amy Jeffers (Mike), grandchildren; Coby Peters, Blake Peters, Zack Tatum (Kara), Jake Tatum (Samantha), Abbie McCoy (Sam), Garrett Peters, Noah Peters, other relatives, and friends. Earl loved Sunday School and church services at the Scotland Baptist Church. Clinton Funeral Service is honored to be providing service to the Tatum Family.
