Doyle Medley Obituary

Doyle Shannon Medley, age 73, of Hillsboro, passed away unexpectedly Friday May 5, 2023, at the Bethesda North Hospital. He was born on January 2, 1950, in Harveysburg, Ohio, the son of the late Cecil D. Medley and Beaulah Agnes (Planck) Burke. Doyle proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He enjoyed fishing, shooting pool, and spending time with his family and friends. He will be greatly missed. Doyle is survived by his wife, Denise Purcell Medley; two sons, Michael (Deanna) Medley, and Matthew (Shannon) Medley; three grandsons, Leslie (Allison) Adkins, Galen Adkins, and Raji Bannerjee; one granddaughter, Payton Medley; one great grandson, Elliott Adkins; three sisters-in-law, Maureen Medley, Brenda Jenkins, Melody (Eddie) Howarth, and seven nieces, and two great nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Medley. Celebration of Doyle's life will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. There will be no visitation. The Turner & Son Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the family.
