Margaret Ruth Robinson, known affectionately as Ruth to her friends and family, and Ruthie to her husband, passed away peacefully on February 21, 2024, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Ruth was born on December 18, 1962, in Anaheim, California, Ruth was a beacon of light and love to all who knew her. Though she has departed from this world, her warmth, adventuresome spirit, and creative spark remain an enduring legacy.Ruth's early years in California set the stage for a life filled with care and compassion. After completing her education with a technical degree as a licensed practical nurse, she embarked on a career in nursing that showcased her inherent desire to help and nurture others. However, her heart led her to the most cherished roles of her life: that of a devoted wife to her husband, Mark Robinson, and a loving mother to her children, Scott Robinson and Hannah Reynolds. In addition to her immediate family, Ruth's love enveloped her son-in-law David Reynolds, daughter in law Melanie Robinson. She is survived by her sister, Faye Hunter and Larry Hunter, and her niece, Andrea Hunter. Her four adored grandchildren: Natalie and Noah Robinson, Adalyn and Archer Reynolds. Ruth is preceded in death by her niece, Laura (Bo) Lynn Hunter, her late parents, Floyd and Wanda Prestridge, as well as her departed in-laws, Merrilly Robinson and Carl Robinson.Ruth gracefully transitioned from her nursing career to become a dutiful homemaker, dedicating her life to creating a nurturing and supportive environment for her husband and children. Her household was one of laughter, encouragement, and unwavering support. Ruth shared a deep love for Jesus Christ. She was very faithful to her church and loved sharing the love of Jesus. Ruth's creative talents were on display in every corner of her home and in the joyful projects she shared with her children and grandchildren.A woman of diverse interests, Ruth enjoyed singing very much, and she was a member of the Singing Church Women of Oklahoma. She channeled her creative energies into writing and making crafts. These hobbies were not just pastimes but extensions of her loving and imaginative nature, through which she connected with her family and friends. Her adventurous spirit was also well known, as Ruth loved traveling across the United States, embracing the beauty and diversity of the country. Each trip was an adventure, a tale to be recounted, or an inspiration for her writing. Those who were fortunate to know Ruth would describe her in many glowing terms, but "loving," "adventurous," and "creative" were perhaps the most fitting. Her loving nature was the cornerstone of her life, guiding her relationships and actions. The adventurous side of Ruth brightened the lives of those around her with spontaneity and joy. Her creativity was a gift she generously shared, infusing her surroundings with beauty and her personal touch.Ruth's passing leaves a void in the hearts of many, yet her spirit will continue to inspire and guide us. Her life was a testament to the power of love and the joy of a soul lived fully. As we mourn her loss, we also celebrate a life that was so very well-lived. Ruth's memory will forever be a treasure locked within the hearts of her family, friends, and all who were touched by her extraordinary essence.Margaret Ruth Robinson's story does not end with her passing but lives on in the cherished memories held dear by those whose lives she touched. We bid her farewell; a woman of grace, a loving matriarch, and a true friend. Her journey continues in the stories we share and the love that never fades.

Angel Marie Young, a radiant soul whose laughter was contagious, departed on February 19, 2024, at the age of 49. Born on the sunny side of life in Sewickley, Pennsylvania, on March 31, 1974, Angel's journey took flight to Tulsa, Oklahoma, where she spread joy and kindness like confetti. With a spirit as free as a butterfly, Angel was the life of the party, her humor a beacon of light. She was the epitome of someone who could find the silver lining in any cloud and had a heart as vast as the sky. Her memory is a treasure to her nieces, nephews, and those little ones who called her "Aunt Angel." Preceding her in the grand tale of life were her father, William K. Young; and her nephew, Logan Davis. Her scholarly adventures took her from the halls of Broken Arrow High School to the scholarly realms of NSU. As an avid reader and journaler, Angel was never without her trusty book or pen, her thoughts and dreams forever inscribed on the pages of her life.Join us to celebrate Angel's life on Saturday, March 9th at 1pm at Lewis Ave Missions International Church where stories will be shared, memories will dance, and laughter will echo in her honor.
