Henry Alexander (Harry) Woods Sept 5th, 1927 - Nov 11th, 2023 On the beautiful day of Remembrance, it is with great sadness to announce that Henry Alexander (Harry) Woods, at the young age of 96, passed peacefully, holding the hand of his beloved wife of 72 years, Gladys Ellen Woods (nee Douglas) in the loving home they have lived in for 68 years. It is here in this home, along with his beautiful wife where they raised their five children Donna (Michael) Bather (nee Woods), Donald (Cheryl) Woods, Kenneth Woods, James (Wendy) Woods, Jack (Bonnie) Woods. Harry is also survived by their 12 grandchildren, Pamela Graham, Fred and Sean Bather, Kody Woods, Brandon, Justin, Quinton, Cameron and Darren Woods, Jamie and Chase Woods and Jayda Woods, and 8 great-grandchildren, Damien, Callum, Jaxon, Rian, Winnie, Hunter, Peyton and Charlotte. Harry will be remembered for his hardworking, slightly stubborn nature, ready to crack a joke, cook his amazing meals and bake a perfect dessert. His wife and his family were always his first priority; however he was always ready to lend a helping hand to family, friends and neighbors when it was needed. When Harry and Gladys retired, they took the time to travel and explore and create some memories that were special just for the two of them and were able to take advantage of his sense of adventure. Most of all he loved each and every one of us in our own special and unique ways and knew how to make everything feel so much better when you could melt into one of his big hugs. Harry will be greatly missed by all. A Celebration of Life ceremony will be held at Marshall Funeral Home, 10366 Yonge Street, Richmond Hill on Saturday November 25th 2023 at 1:00 pm.Show more
