Ronald "Ronnie" Roth, 60, of La Vergne, TN, passed away on July 28, 2023, in Nashville, TN. He was born on August 23, 1962, in Columbus, IN, and later moved to Nashville, TN, in 1980. Ronnie was a dedicated aircraft fueler at the Nashville International Airport for 15 years and also worked at the Clopay factory. Ronnie's adventurous spirit was reflected in his hobbies. He enjoyed riding 4-wheelers and had a passion for deer hunting, which was evident from the numerous deer mounts adorning his walls. He shared a deep bond with his two pitbulls, India and Edgar, though he was recently saddened by the loss of India. A graduate of Overton High School's class of 1981, Ronnie held a special place in his heart for his education and community. He was a loving son, survived by his mother, Doloris A. (Sage) Roth of Nashville, TN, and was preceded in death by his father, Lester L. Roth. In addition to his mother, Ronnie is survived by four siblings: Terry (Marcia) Roth of Portland, TN; Barbara (Brian) Maus of Columbus, IN; and Chuck (Lucy) Roth of Portland, TN. He also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews who will cherish his memory. Funeral services, conducted by Pastor David Schill, will be held on Saturday, August 19, at Noon, at Adams Family Funeral Homes & Crematory. The burial of Ronnie's cremated remains will follow at Crothersville Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on the same day, August 19, from 9:00 AM until Noon, at Adams Family Funeral Homes & Crematory. In honor of Ronnie's memory, memorial donations may be made to the American Lung Association.
