Douglas Conlon Obituary

"Douglas Brian Conlon age 74, went home to be with his Lord, April 9th, 2023, Holy Easter Sunday surrounded by family. Douglas was born January 20th, 1949, in Brooklyn, NY to Vincent and Olive Conlon. He served in the Vietnam War with the USAF and later with the USMC Reserves. Douglas had a prolific belief in servitude to both country and God. Douglas served New York State as a Police Officer and went on to retire with the NY Suffolk County Highway Patrol. In his retirement years he continued service with the USCG Auxiliary. Douglas is survived by his wife Kathleen Marie Conlon, their three children Elizabeth, Bryan, and Claire-Eve. ; eight grandchildren: Victoria, Aemon, Olivia, Liam, Peter, Aaliyah, Roman, and Alice, and great-grandson, Ashe. He is also survived by his sister Barbara, her husband, Robin, and their children Tiffany, Krystal, and Lee. Douglas was an avid reader, crossword puzzle lover, and a phenom with numbers. He loved his family, friends, and faith. He remained involved with his family parish, San Sebastian Catholic Church of St. Augustine, Fl. until his last day. A Memorial Service will be held, Thursday, May 25th, 2023, at 11:00 AM at San Sebastian Catholic Church, St. Augustine Fl.
