Dorothy Jean Brown (82) of West Chester, OH passed away peacefully in her residence on Sunday February 25th, 2024. She is survived by her son Matthew Mercer and Sister Janet Brown. Dottie is predeceased by her daughter Martha Vikroy Mercer Kromer and parents Grace Lightbody Brown and Robert Brown.Dorothy was born and raised in Cleveland in 1942. She went on to study at Ohio University, Wittenberg University and Duke University. She became a physical therapist in her early years and owned a successful printing business until she retired. After retiring she enjoyed gardening, quilting, and music. She also went on to pursue her passion for plants and became a master gardener. Dorothy had a love for reading and always had a bookmark in a good book. Her passion for music was shared with close friends, visiting the Cincinnati PoPs and CSO frequently.Please join us to celebrate the life and legacy of Dorothy. He was born December 4, 1940 in Cincinnati, Ohio to John Ronald and AnnaMarie Viola (nee Heyker) Jeanmougin. Following his graduation from Xavier University in 1962, David served in the United States Army. You could always depend on David to make you laugh with his wonderful sense of humor. He enjoyed watching sports, playing golf, and had a true appreciation of the arts. David was preceded in death by: parents, John Ronald and AnnaMarie Viola Jeanmougin; wife, Alma M. Jeanmougin; and brothers, Robert Jeanmougin and Ronald Jeanmougin. Lenore was born on August 11th, 1941, to Lenore and Milton E Provost in Ludlow MA. After graduating from Ludlow High School in 1958 she went on to work at Valley Bank in Springfield MA. Douglas met Lenore in 1959 at a party held at Hotel Bridgeway in Springfield MA. They were married on May 20th, 1961. Douglas and Lenore had three children Adam, Suzanne, and Jennifer.Lenore was preceded in death by her mother Lenore, father Milton, sister Joan, and brother Milt. She is survived by her husband Douglas, children Adam Stone, Suzanne Huneck, and Jennifer Stone, grandchildren Jessie Huneck, Ryan Huneck, Savanah Stone, and Douglas Starcher. Lenore also was survived by many nieces and nephews. Lenore was a stay-at-home mom and filled her days donating her time to others. Lenore loved to get involved in her community and was a member of the Welcome Wagon groups in both Lebanon TN and Medina OH. She volunteered at the Warren County Adult New Readers program and helped coordinate reading programs at both South Lebanon Elementary and JF Burns Elementary. Lenore was a long-time member of the Mason Methodist Church. She was very active in all aspects of her church community and in 2006 was awarded the Reverend J.J Hill Leadership Award. She was also a member of the Mason Area Painters Group. Her work could be seen at local exhibitions, events, and galleries all over the region.Services will be held at Hodapp Funeral Home located at 8815 rt 42 West Chester OH 45069 on Tuesday, March 5th at 11 am until the time of funeral service beginning at 12:30. Born to John D. and Margie (nee Mahan) Stacy on May 16, 1963, in Cincinnati, Ohio.A graduate of Muskinghum College with a degree in Psychology. Kelly went on to work for Alkermes as the senior human resources manager and business partner for the last 18 years. She enjoyed going to work every day and met lifelong friends who became her family along the way.Kelly had a love of nature, gardening, and flowers. She had a green thumb when it came to planting anything. Her patience drew her to the "she shed" everyday where she tended to her plants. Animals and gardening are what made her happy.She was the aunt of all aunts. Dedicated, devoted and supportive. She spent time with her nieces and nephews every chance she could. Together at family gatherings or holidays and in individual settings, like the Super Bowl in LA with her nephew. She loved them dearly and the feeling was mutual.Kelly was a generous caring soul who loved nothing more than to be with her family. She took her parents to dinner often and even on a life changing trip for two weeks last summer. Carl E Smith, 78, went to be with the Lord Saturday January 27, 2024. He resided in West Chester, OH but enjoyed spending winters in Titusville, FL. He attended First Christian Church in Titusville and a member of Christ Church of Mason, Mason, OH. After he graduated from college he served in the U. S. Army as an Officer and his country in Vietnam. He was discharged as a Captain. His life was one of service to his fellow man, his city, State, his country. Carl then began his second career as a civil engineer. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, riding his motorcycle and his favorite dog Milo. Carl was a member and past Master of Washington Lodge # 17 and was currently serving as their Chaplain. He was a member of Hamilton Washington Chapter # 195 of the Order of the Eastern Star and had served as their Chaplain. He was a Member of The Valley of Cincinnati Scottish Rite and a 32 Degree Mason, as well as a member of Middletown Chapter # 87 of the Grand Chapter of Royal Arch Masons and had served as the High Priest of Hamilton chapter # 21. He was a Member of Middletown Council # 136 of the Grand Council of Royal and Select Masons of Ohio and had served as the Illustrious Master of Hamilton Council # 19. He was a Member of Middletown Commandery # 71 Knights Templar and had served as the Commander of Hamilton Commandery # 41. He was a Knight York Cross of Honor. He was a member of the Allied Masonic Degrees. He was a member of Hamilton # 414 High Twelve Club and was serving as their Chaplain and Wolcott /representative. He was currently serving as the Sergeant at Arms for the Ohio Association of High Twelve Clubs. Carl is survived by his wife Shirley Smith Wife of 18 years, Daughter- Heather Rae Napier (Shawn), Son- Carl Edward Smith (Ginger), step children Michael Boehm (Holly), Jennifer Wolf (Victor) Sister- Sandra Stoddard (Jeff), Brother- Larry Smith Sister- Barbra Bechtel (Steve), 7 grandchildren and many cousins, nieces & nephews. Sister in law, Judy Haboush, Sharon Caliguri (Pat), brother in laws Everett Taylor (Becky), Tony Taylor (Patti). Preceded in death by his parents, Nathan & Lois Smith, father in law, Everett H Taylor, brother in law Raymond Haboush and wife of 32 years, Karen Kay Smith. A short celebration of life will be held on March 9th from 11am-1pm at the Rose Hill Burial Park Mausoleum in Hamilton, Ohio with entombment to immediately follow.

Barbara Muncy Moore, 86, formerly of Leesburg, Virginia, wife, wonderful mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and friend, passed to her heavenly home on February 22, 2024, in West Chester, Ohio. Barbara was born on December 13, 1938, in Ashland, Virginia, the 9th child of Orville and Maude Muncy. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Orville and Maude Muncy, her sisters Geneva Steadman, Betty Gregory, and Patty Kelley, and her brothers Robert, Bill, Ralph, Clifford, Edward, and David. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, William Lee Moore, daughter and son-in-law, Traci and Jeff Allgor and her beloved grandchildren; Matt and wife Kim Allgor of Richmond, VA, Katie Allgor of Mason, OH, Chris and wife Katie Allgor of Worthington, OH, and Cody Allgor of Columbus, Ohio; and sisters Lois Simpson and Peggy Shugars of Virginia along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Barbara was a federal employee with 35 ½ years of service. She worked at the Mt. Weather HighPoint Specialty Facility for FEMA from the day after her H.S. graduation until she retired on Jan 3, 1994. She enjoyed singing in the choir, was an amazing artist, and loved doing arts and crafts, and being with her grandchildren. She was a longtime member of Leesburg (Baptist) Community Church. She retired from the Lakota School District after many years of service. Esther is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Ernest DeBord; children Eric (Jeanne) DeBord, Jason (Sarah) DeBord; grandchildren Lillian, Lyndsay, Emma, Paige and siblings Gladys Prather, Elsie Arnold.
