Dorothy "Dot" Williams, age 95 of Olmstead, Kentucky passed away Friday September 8th, 2023 at Logan Memorial Hospital. She was a Logan County native born July 30th, 1928 to the late Walter Wood Noe and Frances Greer Noe. She was a book keeper, a member of First Baptist Church in Russellville where she served on the Hospitality Committee and was a volunteer at Logan Memorial Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years Dorris Williams and her daughter Debra Lynn Johnson. She is survived by:1 Granddaughter ~ Genevieve Johnson (Weston) ~ Olmstead KYSeveral Nieces and Nephews also surviveFuneral Services for Dorothy "Dot" Williams will be conducted at 3:00 PM on Tuesday September 12th, 2023 at Summers and Son Funeral Home with Bro. Joe Ball officiating with burial to follow in the Dripping Spring Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home will be held Monday September 11th, 2023 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Tuesday from 8:00 AM until the time of the service at 3:00 PM. Memorial Contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church or the donors favorite charity. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. Robert Lee Coker, born on October 18, 1943, passed away on October 26, 2023. He was the son of the late Mary Belle and Beauchamp Coker. Robert had a wonderful sense of humor. He was an avid fisherman and loved hunting, playing cards and golf. He especially loved spending time with grandkids and his great granddaughter. Robert was loved by many and left a mark of kindness on everyone he met. He is survived by his loving wife Anne Franklin Coker, brother Larry Coker, son Bart Coker (Les), daughter Leslie Reid (Ernie), son Jim Greene (Lara), five grandchildren (Hannah, Jaxon, Ben, Wesley, and Joseph), one great grandchild (Callie Ann), and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister Betty Jean Coker. Robert graduated from Adairville School and then went on to work as an investigator at Retail Credit before co-owning Charles Sircy Trucking and ExpressCo Trucking Companies. He finished his career serving as director of transportation and maintenance for Russellville Independent Schools. Funeral Services for Robert Lee Coker will be conducted at 11:00 am on Tuesday, October 31, 2023 at Summers and Son Funeral Home with burial to follow in Berea Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home will be held Monday, October 30, 2023 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Tuesday from 8:00 am until the service time of 11:00 am. Tommy Kemp, age 76 of Russellville, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at his home. He was born in Russellville, Kentucky on January 2, 1947 to the late Arthur Reginald Kemp and Mary Rebecca Dawson Kemp. He was a US Army veteran and member of First Christian Church where he served as an Elder. He was the former owner/operator of Kemp Paving, KDK Trucking and Mid South Paving and Stone. He was the Regional Manager for Scotty's Contracting for 21 years. He enjoyed yard work, driving his Corvette and watching Louisville basketball and football and spending time with his family.
