Dorothy Marie Price, of Clear Lake Shores, Texas, passed away on Thursday, September 7, 2023 in League City, Texas at the age of 100. She was born on April 23, 1923 in Henderson, Texas to Thomas and Minnie Pool. Dorothy was the City secretary for Baytown, Texas for many years. She was a loving and wonderful, caring person and a great homemaker and cook. She was preceded in death by her husband Tyler A. Price. Dorothy is survived by her son Tommy Price, daughters Sherry Little and Connie Beene, grandchildren Stephen Little, Shane Little, Scott Little, Debbie Foxworth, Dena Fuller, Amy Price, David Price, 15 great-grandchildren, 17 great-great grandchildren and many other loving family and friends. A Grave Side Ceremony will be held on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at 10:00am at Lakewood Memorial Park Cemetery in Henderson, Texas under the direction of Crawford - A Crim Funeral Home located at 1414 S Main St, Henderson, TX 75654, (903) 657-2562.

Patricia "Patsy" Ann Furey of League City, Texas, unexpectedly left us on Thursday, November 30th, 2023. Pasty was born in Liberty Texas on February 15th, 1949 to Nellie Mae & Neil Emmett Lang Sr. , and was the younger sister to brothers Steve and preceded in death by Emmett Jr. Patsy is survived by her husband of 34 years, James Michael Furey, USCG Ret, her son, Darin Shea Palmer and his wife Leslie and her step children, James Furey II & Lynn Furey. Patsy was a native Texan who loved the Hill Country and hunting for Bluebonnets. After marrying Jim in 1989, their shared love of travel was a source of inspiration and their annual adventures took them to all 50 States and all provinces and territories of Canada. Mostly traveling by road, Patsy enjoyed the scenic route and making new friends along the way. Among her favorite spots, the Kenai Fjords in Alaska and a trek to Churchill, Manitoba, Canada to see the polar bears. She enjoyed many hobbies. Always crocheting or completing needlework for gifting, especially to celebrate births, birthdays and re-birthdays. Her Mickey Mouse collection grew over decades and she never went anywhere without her favorite character. Patsy loved all holidays as they brought together family. Her favorite holiday was Christmas. She loved displaying the ornaments and decor collected during her travels. Of all her hobbies, her favorite was always her beloved cats. Over the years, she's had several cats. Some of her favorites include Bad Cat, Minnie & Daisy and most recently Shelly & Peaches who miss her every day. On Thanksgiving day, November 23, our mother Genevieve Lowry Cole, passed away peacefully just shy of her 91st birthday. A native of Pembroke, NC, daughter of John R. Lowry and Stella L Lowry, she is survived by her three sons, Eric (Wendy) of League City, Texas, Marc (Tracy) of Holly Springs, North Carolina, and Christopher (Alison) of Hurdle Mills, North Carolina. She is also survived by her three granddaughters Reece, Ayden, and Riley. In 1950, Genevieve graduated as valedictorian of Pembroke High School. In 1954, she became the first female Native American to graduate from the University of North Carolina, earning a degree in medical technology. She later returned to UNC, earning her masters degree in public health, and spent the better part of 50 years as a medical technologist at the state lab in Raleigh, and at Duke University. In recognition of her achievements in Chapel Hill, she is honored as a UNC "Noteworthy First", whereby scholarships and grants are given in her name as a pathbreaking Tar Heel. She was an active member of the UNC board of visitors, and a docent in the Duke Chapel. Always enthusiastic and active, she dedicated the last 30 years of her life to traveling the world and climbing mountains. To our mother, we want to express our deepest gratitude for her endless devotion and encouragement. We are forever grateful. A church service will be held at 11AM on December 16, at First United Methodist Church, 100 Breece Street, Pembroke, NC.
