Dorothy Poulos-Karmis, age 54, passed away peacefully on June 12, 2022. Dorothy is the beloved wife of William J. "Bill" Karmis; loving step-mother of Will and Mitch Karmis; dearest daughter of Ellen, nee Fitzgerald, and William "Bill" Poulos; dear sister of Stephanie (Mark) Poulos-Ruther. Dorothy was a niece and cousin of many, a loving god mother to Nicholas, god daughter of Marianne and John Kretekos, and god sister to Laura and Susan. She was a registered dental hygienist, and had a contagious laugh and love for life, and if you were lucky enough to be at her table you ate like a king! Visitation Wednesday, June 22, 2022, from 3:00 p. m. until 8:00 p. m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave. , Norridge, IL. Friends and family will begin to gather at 10:00 a. m. on Thursday, at the funeral home, and a Greek orthodox funeral service will begin at 11:00 a. m.
