Dorothy Lebeau Obituary

Dorothy Mae Le Beau, 93, of Menominee passed away on Sunday, May 7, 2023 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Menominee on July 26, 1929, the daughter of Clarence and Lena (Maufort) Clausen. Dorothy grew up in Menominee, graduating from Menominee High School in 1948. She later attended nursing school in Ishpeming and worked as an LPN at St. Joseph-Lloyd Hospital and at Dr. Brukardt's office. On December 1, 1951, Dorothy married Stewart Le Beau. Together they were active in their church, with Dorothy serving as choir director. Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Cynthia (Ted) Lee; her sister, Marilyn De Hart; a daughter-in-law, Carlyn Le Beau and step-grandsons, Nicholas (Lauren) Ganz and their children Rigby, Georgiana and Benette, and Michael (Lindsey) Ganz and their children Bryce and Marshal. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband Stewart and sons Stewart and Scott Le Beau. Visitation will be held on Monday, May 15, 2023, at Hansen-Onion-Martell Funeral Home from 9:30 a. m. until 10:30 a. m. , with a Mass following at 11:00 a. m. Monday at Holy Spirit Catholic Church with Fr. Abraham Mupparathara officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Menominee.
