They shared 72 years together. Pat was known as a professional timberman. He started cutting trees at an early age. He was self- employed all his working career. They lived overseas for many years due to Bill’s work in the oil field. They eventually retired in Fairfield. Patty is survived by her children; Diane (Larry) Taylor of Fairfield, Teena (Ron) Wolfe of Rolling Prairie, Indiana and Andrew (Ingrid) Johnson of St. Louis, Missouri. Grandchildren; Lee, Lincoln, Jarod, Dillon Johnson & Laura Chaumont of Texas. Dennis was born on August 30, 1945 to Pat Leroy and Orpha (Sloan) Vail in Olney, Illinois. He married Tamara Puckett on September 23, 2002 in Fairfield, Illinois. Dennis started his working career with Union Oil Company out of Noble, Illinois working in construction and repair. He was later transferred to Unocal Oil Company in Coalinga, California. working as an inspector for Black Hawk Engineering. During his career, he worked in several states around the country. Dennis was a member of the Elm Street Christian Church in Olney, Illinois. Dennis and Tamara attended the 1st. Christian Church in Fairfield. Dennis was a 32nd degree mason and member of the Shrine. Dennis was a member of the National Cutting Horse Association. Horses were a big part of his life from a young age. He competed for several years in cutting horse competition. He was also a avid coon hunter. Nancy was born on June 8, 1944, in Wayne County, Illinois to Perry Rosco "Ross" and Martha (Simpson) Suddarth. She married Jerry Musgrave on June 28, 1969. She was a 1962 graduate of Fairfield High School. Nancy became a beautician and later co-owned and operated the Crown III Beauty Salon. Nancy enjoyed reading, solving puzzles, watching mysteries, and exploring new recipes. Her passion was her family. She loved attending family get-togathers and the annual Suddarth chowder. She was a longtime member Ellen Moore Methodist Church and in her later years actively participated in the church sewing circle. Nancy went out of her way to help people in need and often made time for relatives and friends. Nancy's afterlife should be rich rewards for a life well lived. Nancy is survived by Jerry Musgrave, her loving and devoted husband of 54 years who never left her side particularly when Nancy's health declined, son Jarod Musgrave of Le Roy, Illinois on whom she doted on, daughter-in-law Christy (McMahan) Musgrave whom Nancy could always make laugh, granddaughter Gemma Musgrave on whom Grandma'ancy made an indelible impression, especially with homemade cookies. Also surviving are her sister Dorie Sager of Fairfield, Illinois, twin sister Minnie (Hans) Wellen of Dahlgren, and brother Tom (Janet) Suddarth of Fairfield, Illinois. Sharon June (McCormick) Kissner, 73, of Fairfield, IL passed away on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at StoneBridge Memory Care in Mt. Vernon, IL. Sharon was born to Burl & Gladys (Butler) McCormick on February 19, 1950, the youngest of 7 children. While attending Wayne City High School, she met the love of her life, Jerry Kissner. They were married at the ages of 15 and 17 in 1965. They farmed and raised three children together until his death in a farm accident in March of 1979. She became a licensed practical nurse, and worked as a nurse to raise her family. In the 1980's, she became a real estate agent and continued her career as a realtor until her retirement. She owned and operated Kissner Morning Star Realty. Sharon took great pride in her children and grandchildren. She was active in church and had a great love of animals. She was a member of the Church of God in Fairfield, IL and a member of the National Association of Realtors. Sharon is survived by a son DeWayne Kissner (and wife Ruth) of Fairfield, IL; 2 daughters: Stacy Greenwalt (and husband Todd Niemann) of Wayne City, IL and Stephanie Sanders (and husband Bill) of Lewisburg, KY; 7 grandchildren: Caleb (Addison) Smith, Kali (Caleb) Riley, Ava Kissner, Perry Kimberlin, Kaylee Greenwalt, Jessica (Casey) Lowe, and Brian Sanders, 5 great-grandchildren, a brother Chester McCormick of Batavia, IL; 2 sisters: Betty (Lonnie) Hertenstein of Plano, IL and Judy Kissner of Grand Chain, IL; and several nieces and nephews. Joanie enjoyed adventures in the great outdoors. She loved fishing, traveling, a good movie and reading. She and her husband lived in Florida, Minnesota, & Ontario finally settling in Montana. Sherman Ray Weaver, 74, of Fairfield, IL passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at his home. Ray was born in Fairfield, IL on September 15, 1948 the son of Bernie Eugene and Myrtle Ida (May) Weaver. On August 14, 1970 he married Mary L. (Breeze) Weaver, who survives. Ray was a U. S. Army Veteran, having served as a Military Police Officer at the Aberdeen Proving Ground Missile Base in Chestertown, Maryland. He worked as a specialist welder at Blaw Knox Construction Company in Mattoon, IL for 35 years. He then owned & operated Sherman Weaver Digital Photography & Sign Company until he retired. He was also President of the Blaw Knox Employees Credit Union, a member of the Neoga, IL Chamber of Commerce, a member of several classic car clubs, and a member of the Arrington Prairie Missionary Baptist Church. Ray was an avid golfer, and a St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan. He also enjoyed helping create Facebook pages for various organizations and interests. He loved his family very much, and he will be greatly missed. Ray is survived by his wife Mary L. She was born February 22, 1939, in Grayville, the daughter of Orval Carrol Loven and Gerladine Maxine (Wells) Loven. She was married to Julian Neil Kramer on January 12, 1955, and he preceded her in death on July 2, 2017. Carol was a member of the First Christian Church in Grayville. She was a CNA and previously worked at Baldwin Nursing Home in Grayville. She also worked for Johnnye Manufacturing Company, and as a cook at Wells Restaurant. She was an excellent seamstress. Survivors include son Jason Orval Kramer of Grayville; daughters Kelly Bunting of Grayville, Krystal (Morris) Seibert of Albion; brother Dallas (Vicki) Loven of Evansville, Indiana; sister Donna Yvonne Fisher of Grayville; grandchildren Lacey (Tim) Hill, Ryan Amos, Joseph (Ashlee) Seibert, Daniel Siebert, Amber (Ryan) Robinson, Tashauna Amos, Jade (Brett) Guthrie, Dallas Kramer; and 12 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughters Ronda Kramer, Karen Kramer, Krista Kramer; and son David Neil Kramer. In keeping with carol's wishes, her remains were cremated.
