Garry Kitter of Hemlock, Michigan, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Saturday, November 25, 2023. He was 84 years old. Garry was born on April 27, 1939, in Alpena, Michigan, the son of the late Walter Kitter and Ethel (Ellsworth) Kitter. He met the love of his life, Elizabeth E. Shields, through his niece, Gloria Rohn. They were united in marriage on May 18, 1963. Elizabeth preceded him in death on December 29, 2019. Garry worked for Saginaw Steering Gear, retiring in 1999. He attended St. John XXIII Parish, St. Mary Catholic Church in Hemlock. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed camping. He enjoyed restoring old tractors and cars in his pole barn. He liked to play cards and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Garry is survived by two sons and two daughters, Walter Kitter of Hemlock; Wendy (Dave) Jesse of Hemlock; Lori (Domenic) Bufalini of Thornton, CO; Greg Kitter of Grayslake, IL; seven grandchildren, Mason Kitter, Tyler Kitter, Ashlyn Kitter, Kyle Jedynak, Erika Clarke, Nick Jesse, and Mason Jesse; one sister, Shirley Pinkel; many nieces and nephews; and several in-laws and extended family. Garry was preceded in death by four brothers and four sisters. A funeral service will take place at 11:00 a. m. on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at W. L. Case and Company Funeral Directors, 201 N Miller Rd, Saginaw, MI 48609, with Rev. Fr. Michael Steltenkamp, S. J. officiating. Cremation will follow after the service. Pamela "Pam" June Leppert of Hemlock, Michigan Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend passed away peacefully at her home, with her family by her side, on Sunday, November 12, 2023. She was 65 years old. Pamela June Barst was born on July 8, 1958, in Saginaw, Michigan, to the late Ralph and June (Otter) Barst. She was proud 1976 graduate of Hemlock High School. She met the love of her life, Jeff Leppert, while in the 7th grade. They eventually dated, fell in love, and were united in marriage on June 29, 1990; he survives her. Pam was employed with Hemlock High School as a food service worker, where she was well liked and loved, for 18 years, retiring in 2022. The role of her lifetime, and one she treasured and cherished above all others, was to be a loving and devoted wife and mother. She was of the Lutheran faith and previously attended Zion Lutheran Church in Hemlock. Her little piece of heaven was traveling to her mother’s cabin on Elk Lake. She enjoyed crafts, whether it was drawing or painting, whatever she put her mind to she could make. Pam absolutely loved and adored her family, especially spending time with her beloved grandchildren. She will forever be remembered as a beautiful person with a kind and sweet soul, for the love and care she gave to those she loved, and for truly living an amazing life filled with many wonderful memories and stories. Surviving are her husband of 32 years, Jeff Leppert of Hemlock; two daughters and two sons: Nicole (Josh) Hubbell of Bellbrook, OH; Karrie Bedtelyon of Saginaw; Jeffery T. Leppert and his fiancée, Kelly Griffin of Saginaw; Zack Leppert and his girlfriend, Gwendolyn Summons of Saginaw; eight grandchildren: Abagail Hubbell, Brayden Hubbell, Carter Hubbell, Claire Hubbell, Hannah Bedtelyon, Cameron Bedtelyon, Era Bedtelyon III, and Lilly Miller; two great-grandchildren: Darion Payne, Kaylanni Cook; a brother and sister: Steve (Marge) Barst of WV; Susan Worley of Saginaw; mother-in-law, Dorothy Leppert of Saginaw. Also surviving are many nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and June Barst; sister, Dawn Barst; father-in-law, Samuel Ivan Leppert; and a brother-in-law, Sam Leppert. David R. Bauer of Hemlock, Michigan Beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend passed away on November 5, 2023, after battling lung disease for several years, surrounded by his family and those that cared for him, at Chelsey Park Health and Rehabilitation in Dahlonega, GA. He was 81 years old. David was born on November 29, 1941, in Cass City, Michigan, to the late David G. and Iris M. (Zapfe) Bauer, later moving to and growing up in Saginaw, Michigan. In 1958, while in high school, David proudly enlisted in the United States Naval reserves. Upon graduating from Arthur Hill High School in 1959, he served active duty at sea in the United States Navy aboard the USS Somersworth at the Norfolk Submarine Base from 1961, until his honorable discharge in 1962. David retired from General Motors in 1992, after 30 years of service. He was an avid hunter and fisherman as well as a classic car collector. Hunting was his passion whereby he amassed an extensive taxidermy collection over the years. David also enjoyed vacationing with his family in the Outer Banks. Throughout his life he lived in Saginaw and Hemlock, Michigan, and in 2021, he moved to northern Georgia near his son, Chad, and Daughter-in Law, Dona'. Dave is survived by his son, Chad and Dona (Stromberg) Bauer of Georgia; a brother, Gary and Nancy (Filiatraut) Bauer of Virginia; three granddaughters: Heather Little of Michigan; Danelle (Lee) and Tony Spinelli of Georgia; Lindsay (Lee) and Josh Roberts of Kentucky; a grandson, Caleb Lee of Georgia; three great-granddaughters: Aylin Little, Athena Little, and Lexie Spinelli; three-great grandsons: Sebastian Spinelli, Brody Spinelli, and Jace Roberts. a niece, Julia (Bauer) and Chris Elliott; a grandnephew, Carter Elliott, a grandniece, Leah Elliott all of Virginia; a nephew, Andy Bauer and Shante Wilson; a grandnephew, Grayson Bauer; a grandniece, Reese Bauer all of Oregon; a sister-in-law, Marsha (Egerer) Tithof; and a niece, Tara (Tithof) and Matt Poyer of Michigan. Gary Allen Stefanski of Hemlock, Michigan Beloved Husband, Father, Grandpa "G-Pa", Uncle, and Friend passed away peacefully, with his family by his side, on Thursday, June 29, 2023, at Covenant HealthCare - Cooper. He was 72 years old. Gary Allen Stefanski was born on May 17, 1951, in Bay City, Michigan, to the late James A. and Helen A. (Stagray) Stefanski. He was a proud 1969 graduate of Merrill High School. Following graduation, he attended HVAC Trade School in Tennessee. While in high school, Gary met the love of his life, the former Klementina "Cindy" SanMiguel. Fate brought them back together one day at the grocery store in 2003. They dated, fell in love, and were united in marriage on December 16, 2003; she survives him. Gary worked as a sheet metal worker and HVAC installer at J. E. Johnson in Midland. Following retirement, he was employed at Wright's Pharmacy since 2018 where he delivered prescriptions and other tasks, quickly becoming a part of their family. Though Gary loved to stay busy, the role of his lifetime was to be a loving and devoted husband, father, and especially a grandfather. He enjoyed working with his hands, crafting and creating many beautiful birdhouses, benches, and other stunning pieces through his woodworking and sheet metal skills. Gary's little piece of heaven was working in his yard, tending to his flowers, and spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle, going to antique car festivals, and watching car shows on television. He will forever be remembered for his laughter, loyalty, and kindness, for his warm, sunny, and cheerful disposition, and for truly living an amazing life filled with many beautiful memories and stories. Surviving are his wife of 20 years, Cindy Stefanski of Hemlock; stepson, Larry Wade of Hemlock; stepdaughter, Jessica Wade of Jacksonville, FL; a grandson, Liam Wade of Jacksonville, FL; a special niece, Shawn (Brian) Story of Breckenridge; a step-niece, Connie Paez of Gladwin. Sally Ann (Wolfgram) Otto of Hemlock, Michigan Beloved mother, sister, and friend passed away peacefully on Friday, March 11, 2022, at the age of 62 years. Sally was born on March 26, 1959, in Saginaw, Michigan, daughter of the late Larry C. and Dawn C. (Mortimore) Wolfgram. She was a 1977 graduate of Hemlock High School. Sally was a faithful and longtime member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in Hemlock. She enjoyed going up north, quilting, painting, music, and spending time with her family and friends. Sally was adventurous, full of life, and devoted her life to her children. She had a huge passion for cosmetology and enjoyed styling hair. Sally was eagerly anticipating the arrival of her first grandchild due in August. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Brian's House and Covenant VNA Hospice for all the love and care they provided to Sally and the family. Ruth E. Browne of Hemlock, Michigan <br/><br/>Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 14, 2022. She was 77 years old. Ruth Elsie Oldenburg was born on June 17, 1944, in Saginaw, Michigan, to the late Erwin Anthony and Helen Anna (Pomerening) Oldenburg. She attended Hemlock High School. Ruth's love story began at the Scotch Picnic one Labor Day afternoon where she met the love of her life, Charles Wylie Browne. They dated, fell in love, and were united in marriage on November 4, 1961; he survives her. She was a longtime faithful member of St. John Lutheran Church in Hemlock. Throughout her life Ruth took on the role of a second mother and caretaker to many. She enjoyed playing cards, especially Euchre, as well as going to the casino. Ruth also enjoyed spending time in her flower garden and mowing her lawn. She was an exceptional cook and baker renowned for her baked beans, vegetable soup, and bread. Ruth left her indelible mark on this world through the love and care she provided to her family, her beautiful, timeless, and lively spirit, and for her inherint ability to connect with all people, especially children. <br/><br/>Surviving are her husband of 60 years, Charles W. Raymond "Ray" John Gelski of Hemlock, Michigan <br/><br/>Beloved brother, nephew, uncle, and friend passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Saturday, January 29, 2022, at Covenant HealthCare - Cooper. He was 71 years old. Raymond was born on January 20, 1951, in Saginaw, Michigan, to the late Raymond and Margaret (Kelley) Gelski. He married the love of his life, Julie Ann Micsak, on April 10, 1971, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Hemlock; she preceded him in death on April 14, 2010. Ray worked for over 42 in the Asphalt Industry with several companies until his retirement in 2010. He was of the Lutheran Faith. Ray was a hard worker, and like his wife Julie, he enjoyed working in his yard. He was an avid baseball fan and a big supporter of the Great Lakes Loons. He was kind, caring, and held a special place in his heart for all animals, especially cats. Ray found peace and tranquility in taking truck rides throughout the area. <br/>Surviving are his brother, Eric Sanders of Saginaw; sister, LaShawn Zimmer of Saginaw; a special aunt, Ann Drbul of Hemlock; sister-in-law, Cindy Gelski of Saginaw. She was 80 years old. Karen Edna Neuenfeldt was born on March 23, 1941, in Saginaw, Michigan, to the late Leonard and Adeline (Beyersdorf) Neuenfeldt. She was a 1959 graduate of Hemlock High School. Karen married the love of her life, Donald H. Seeburger, on May 21, 1960; he preceded her in death on January 12, 2010. Karen was a longtime and faithful member of Zion Lutheran Church. She was selfless and volunteered at various thrift stores over the years. She had excellent fashion sense and loved unique jewelry. The role of her lifetime was to become a wife and mother to her six beloved children. Karen enjoyed working on crafts, playing cards, and participating in many parades and social gatherings in Michigan and Florida. She and Donald also enjoyed all types of dancing. She will forever be remembered for her wonderful sense of humor, her ability to make others laugh, and for being an outgoing and creative soul. <br/><br/>Surviving are a daughter and four sons: Kim and Greg Szabo, Tyrone and Joanne Seeburger, Brad Seeburger, Curt Seeburger, and Patrick Seeburger; six grandchildren: Jacob and Joel Szabo, Noah Seeburger, Kendra Skalnican, Avery and Delaney Seeburger; two great-grandchildren: Kinsley and Rylee; brother, Carl and Retha Neuenfeldt; sister-in-law, Linda Durfee, brother-in-law: Lloyd and Connie Seeburger.
