Donna R. (Myers) Nead, 61, of Waynesboro, PA, passed away Thursday, April 20, 2023 in the Leland of Laurel Run, Waynesboro, following a courageous battle with cancerBorn May 21, 1962 in Waynesboro, PA, she was the daughter of Howard Myers and stepmother Donna and the late Patricia A. Grant and stepfather James (Jim) Lee Grant. She was a lifelong resident of the Waynesboro and Quincy areas. She was a graduate of the Waynesboro Area Senior High School with the Class of 1980 and she furthered her studied at Penn State. Mrs. Nead was employed at Hess Manufacturing of Quincy and VCS Credit, HagerstownDonna was a deeply spiritual woman who shared God's love with others. She was a member of Welty Church of the Brethren, Smithsburg, MD, and Rouzerville Church of theBrethren. She was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, WaynesboroMrs. Nead enjoyed time at their property on the Potomac River, time with her grandchildrenand friends, loving her many dogs, and supporting her church. She is survived by one son, Dustin R. Nead, and his finance Mackayla Menges of Waynesboro;Two granddaughters: Violet Nead and Julia Nead; two grandsons Gavin Moats and Dustin"DJ" Nead, Jr. ; brother and sister-in-law, Keith and Shelley Grant of Waynesboro; brother andsister-n-law, Michael & Teresa Myers of Greencastle, sister and brother-in-law Brenda andRaymond Eagan of Pittsburg; her closest cousin and his wife Robert and Michelle Rock of BlueRidge Summit; one brother-in-law, C. Dwight Heintzelman of Hagerstown, MD; one sister-in-law, Virginia R. "Ginny" Martin and her husband Galen, Jr. , of Shippensburg, PA; special friends, Thomas and Teresa Hind of Waynesboro; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by beloved husband of over 35years, Danny R. Nead, were married May 22, 1982 in Cascade, MDAt Donna's request no memorial service will be held.
