Donald Velard a Colonia resident peacefully passed away on Friday June 17th 2022, from a hard fought battle with pancreatic cancer. Donald is survived by his loving wife of 26 years Debbie Biro. He was employed as a Supervisor of Technical Support for Raritan, a brand of LeGrand. Donald and Debbie both loved to travel whether to see a Broadway play- a foreign country or a visit with their friends at their annual Megajams. Don loved his red mini cooper and could be seen driving to his favorite past time GOLF. Donald was predeceased by his father Dominick Velard and his wife Victoria Makowski Velard, his uncle Thomas Makowski and his brother-in-law Gary K. Galgoci. He is also survived by his aunt Florence Makowski, sister-in-law Diane Galgoci, nephew Gary P. Galgoci and many friends and cousins. As per Don's wishes his cremation was private. Don will be deeply missed but will not be forgotten - especially because of his infectious laugh, which when thought of brings great memories. His family appreciates all your love - support and prayers.
